Super User ChrisD46 Posted June 1, 2023 Super User Posted June 1, 2023 Seaguar InvizX or AbrazX on bait cast reels in higher l(15+ lb.) line strengths ? Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted June 1, 2023 Super User Posted June 1, 2023 I tried AbrazX - didn't really like it...so if it's not Tatsu, it's InvizX. 1 Quote
Texas Flood Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 InvizX has been my go to for a good 10+ years. I thought the AbrazX was ok but I just prefer the other. Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted June 1, 2023 Super User Posted June 1, 2023 Take your pick: InvizX, Tatsu or BasiX over AbrazX - the first three are all good lines. At this point, I wouldn’t use it (AbrazX) based on some of the test data I’ve seen. Quote
newapti5 Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 It depends. Do you want line stretch or not? Do you want extra abrasion resistance or not? Do you care about line memory/stiffness or not? ... IMO there's no one line that fits all, except maybe Tatsu. 1 Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted June 1, 2023 BassResource.com Administrator Posted June 1, 2023 Depends on what you want to do. AbrazX is a durable line designed for fishing heavy cover, rocks, etc. where nicks and line abrasion are a concern. Great for flipping and pitching. InvizX is a workhorse, all-purpose line you can use for a variety of cover and situations. It's easier to cast than AbrazX. 1 Quote

AbrazX for hopping craw imitating jigs around rip rap . Like you shared , InvizX is more of the all purpose FC line (cranking , T-Rig worms , soft paddle tail swim baits , etc.) Quote
Super User webertime Posted June 1, 2023 Super User Posted June 1, 2023 20lb Abrazx for Carolina Rigs. In 3 years I've broken off 5 Rigs with the stuff (Rugged Champlain and St Lawrence bottoms). I love that stuff Quote
Mojo Bass Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Invizx it’s more versatile so you can use it for more applications…. it’s just a good reliable line I use it very often Quote
Hytekrednek Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 tatsu is my preferred, followed by sniper fc Quote
Cody28 Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 I absolutely hate Abrazx and dont know how anyone uses it. Ive given it multiple chances, but it breaks off way too easy, doesn't cast as nice, and is overall inferior to every other fluro ive used. Invisx on the other hand is awesome for moving baits. I typically either go with that or FC Sniper on all my rods. 1 Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted June 2, 2023 Super User Posted June 2, 2023 I agree with @Cody28 about Abrazx. It breaks way too easy especially on hooksets. This is the only line I've ever had that broke that easy. Quote
