Super User MN Fisher Posted March 4, 2023 Super User Posted March 4, 2023 A shot from the stern camera of the F-9 and tow vehicle. 6-1/2' bed in the Siverado....ya, I could put a cot in there...if I could take a long trip. 6 Quote

I can put 8' long lumber or aluminum cross-wise in the bed and close the hatch. Rear 'seat' was removed to turn the back part of the cab into cargo room...'suicide doors'. Quote

TheSwearingAngler Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Big shout out to @BigBiscuit for hooking me up with this Sportspal Owner before BB painted over the factory red, luckily they didn’t prep well so I think I’ll be able to save most of the factory finish as per BB’s suggestion. 5 minutes with a plastic razor blade followed by 10 minutes with the pressure washer.. the paint on the bottom is sticking better than I hoped. I have big plans for this girl. The 12 is want I wanted when I lucked into my 14, she’ll be going to my neighbor and his son. 6 Quote

The 14 foot Radisson is light, the Sportspal is featherweight. It has a couple of seams that I want to reseal (although they probably don’t leak) and obviously some paint work. The 14 footer has 2 thwarts which I use to lift onto the roof of my Jeep. I’m going to make a seat for the Sportspal that incorporates a grab handle for easier cartopping. My current outrigger setup will swap over but I probably won’t use it much. Quote

It was nice meeting you Jason and we're just glad that someone will be putting that old girl back into service. It just doesn't feel right for them to sit unused year after year. I know you'll get lots more years of service from her. 1 1 Quote
Super User DogBone_384 Posted March 15, 2023 Super User Posted March 15, 2023 I believe I already posted pics of my ‘17 RT178 … THIS followed me home from Mecum in January. Not a chance is this gonna tow anything … though it’s got PLENTY of motor… 9 Quote
airshot Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 Those Sportspal canoes are wider than most, I find them more stable than than other canoes. Those foam sponsons on the sides add to that stability!! Quote

Super User LrgmouthShad Posted April 10, 2023 Super User Posted April 10, 2023 So I’m pretty late in updating the forums on this but pretty much as soon as I got to TX, I purchased a Hobie Mirage Outback. The store I bought it from in Austin was kind enough to install the anchor trolley you see at a discounted price. They are called No Bad Days Kayak. I can’t recommend them enough. It’s the best customer service I’ve received for any purchase. Very satisfied with the purchase. The kayak is fast, stable, and maneuverable. 11 Quote

I see them a lot at the lakes I fish and the owners rave about them, enjoy. 1 Quote
nocluefisher Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Putting her in the water today. Just picked it up, 2020 bass tracker classic xl, with a 40hp. Downsizing from a z18. I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of crap I can store on this boat. 8 Quote
