I recently got the Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 13. It's been great so far. I've been mostly fishing rivers. It's cool bc the pedal drive you can pedal right with the current. Plus you can back a big fish away from cover.  I have an old Sears 11' aluminum boat but I took it off the trailer for this yak. Tight lines guys.

Old Town Next. Paddles fast, sits still on an 8 lb anchor, and I'm no longer losing baits, stepping on bee nests, and getting prickers fishing from the banks. But sunscreen ... going through more of that.

Just bought my first boat! Grew up mostly fishing farm ponds and dam faces, recently graduated college and finally got enough saved up to make my first big boy toy purchase. Tried to post a picture with the iPad but it says the file was too big... Anyways, it's a 1994 Nitro 170 DC 115hp Rick Clunn Edition, feel like I got a hell of a deal on it, $2050, and it's been shedded its entire life. I'm new to the lake fishing, I'm ready for the learning curve!!

I have been researching and trying out different kayaks since renting one when I was on vacation. Last night I purchased a Pelican Tracker Angler 100 from Dicks Sporting Goods on sale for $229.00

While I liked many other kayaks, like the Perception Hook, Old Town Trip, Future Beach Trophy, Pelican Sentry and Sentinel, I had to go with the Tracker because it is lightweight. I have a car with no roof rack so its the foam block carrier kit for me. Also I would need to load/unload and walk the kayak to the water myself. Also the rack I have to store this in my garage can only take so much weight.

The Pelican Tracker weighs 38lbs and I was able to pick it up over my head at Dicks with no problem. It's a basic Kayak with no bells or whistles but it will get me on the water easier than any other option.

Stroker is what I'd get if I go for another high speed hull.

Was looking back and saw this . figured I would comment on it . Not me .. If I were to get rid of this Ally and stay in a go fast it would be another 21 Bullet . Never another Stroker for me . I never liked the boat .. Small rod locker lids made it a pain . Plus the ride is more like a 20 ft Bullet .  I fish first,  going  fast and good fuel mileage is a bonus with these type boats . I started running these things for the mileage . Its amazing how far you can go on fuel if you are not running wide open.

Wow, thanks for the input.  Yeah, mileage is amazing when you keep it around 45-50.  Plenty fast enough to hop around from spot to spot.  I do like the GIANT front deck on my 21XDC.
