I think it's Silver Valley Rd? Sorry for the delayed response! Yes we've fished it a bunch, never really catch much. It's VERY HEAVILY FISHED!!! I live about 1/2 mile from there. Do do you fish Beltzville? I NEVER catch anything there! Not sure what I'm doing wrong there. Quote

Yes I "fish" Beltzville as I live less than 1/2 mile from the Pine Run launch. I haven't fully figured it out yet, sometimes I get lucky! LOL. So we are basically neighbors. I have one small kink to work out on my motor once that is fixed if you want to get together to catch nothing at Beltzville no problem, just let me know. 1 Quote

The fact that it went from a lake with a majority of smallmouth to a majority largemouth doesn't help. I heard people are beating the banks and looking for any logs or laydowns or anything in the water that might provide cover. I mostly fish Mauch Chunk now cause of how difficult it is to fish Beltzville. 1 Quote

A-Jay I don't understand what he is talking about. I have been looking at glass and tin rigs. This right is one I am thinking about too. I am also looking at a z19 nitro which with same equipment and 200 motor runs same dollar from what I'm getting quoted. Yeah that is a lot but not sure it isn't just as nice or nicer thanot the glass and much easier to tow and keep in garage. I am also looking at the rt 188 with 115 which loaded and 1 pole is $29k and not as much good storage and I think that is lot more boat 1 Quote
S. Sass Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 2000 SeakArk ZX180 w/ 115 Johnson gps says 45 loaded with both live wells full and a 2nd angler. 2 Quote

The center rod locker is a lot nicer on the bigger model and you can put a 115 on it instead of a 75. Quote
crappie man Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 yeah I liked my rt 178 when I sold it back at end of 14 and if I go that route again I will definitely go rt 188 with new pro xs 4 stroke. If it go this route. Quote

Ringonu Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Picked this up a couple weeks ago. An older Ascend FS12T. I wanted to ease into kayak fishing and upgrade once I know it's for me. I'll be selling off the stabilizers and doing some mods eventually. For now I'm just getting used to paddling. 3 Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I dunno man, I would think about keeping the stabilizers and practice some stand up fishing in that thing. Quote
EllisJuan Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 DrFish...that Legend is stunning. Exactly like I would order mine with the exception of the trolling motor. I am in love with my MG xi5. Quote
DrFish11 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Well the TM is a 36v 112# fortrex, I've been a motorguide guy for a long time but I can't complain about this one. It is a workhorse, I fished an 18ft triton with a 24v motorguide prior to this boat and wouldn't go back! A little more info, I have HDS7's at the console and bow, and a HDS 12 on a ram mount with a sonar hub and sonic hub. Plus that legend livewell is LEGIT!! Boat runs 73-74 with me and a full tank and handles like an F16, I've been splashed once it it and that was 35mph winds at a tourney take off. Quote
Bigkahuna19 Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 (edited) 1985 Ranger 357V. 135hp Mercury Black Max Boat was a disaster sitting unused and going to waste. Rebuilt carbs, fuel, oil, water, bilge and livewell pumps. Re-carpet decks & hatches, reupholster seats along with new seats. 5 rounds of wet sanding, compound and 5coats of wax and sealer. Still more work to do but she is back catching fish after 8 years out of the water. Edited July 26, 2016 by Bigkahuna19 5 Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted August 4, 2016 Super User Posted August 4, 2016 Had the boat shrink wrapped, basically sandpapered the boat here and there during transport. Should have it in a couple weeks. Quote
