Tim Kelly Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 AJ, you seem to have stolen my life. Please give it back. Very nice, I would have gone XS, but either way great rig. Let us know how it runs and fishes. 2 Quote

The Motor & both Talons have custom covers made by Tuff Skinz. http://www.tuffskinz.net/ I'm very happy with the quality, fit & finish of them all. Best part is they are designed to be left on the units (including the motor) for storage, travel and USE ! The motor cover is vented to allow proper air flow to your engine while it is running. They will protect your motor from UV rays, rocks, lures, limbs, aerial assaults from birds, sea salt, and the elements, while keeping your motor looking new. Covers for the Talons are also designed with opening to allow for manual operation of the unit with the cover left on. Remotes work as well. A-Jay 3 Quote
nosdog2 Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 A-Jay, do you have a picture more of that rock chip guard? I am interested in getting something like this for mine. I am seeing some small chips and I do way to much travel between NY > MD to keep damaging the boat like that. Quote

It's called a Rock Tamer. http://www.rocktamers.com/ It's a self-installed kit and is very customizable for a wide array of applications. I had to a little work to do to get it to ride correctly around the dual exhaust. No problems and it all went together in about 2.5 man hours. A-Jay Quote

Pflueger Master Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 I am new to this board and wanted to share my vessel with everyone. I have purchased my dads 1998 Buster Boat by Splash Marine. He found a 2008 Buster Boat and decided he could sell his old one to me at a fair price. This boat is often talked about on here as one of the best mini bass boats ever made and at 18 years old it is still going strong, the trailer has had modifications as has the boat. Two livewells were added as well as a switchboard for front and rear spotlights, fishfinder, livewell lights, a 12 volt charging port(for phone), and a switch each for the livewell pumps. This little boat has all the bells and whistles with a 55lb thrust Endura Max Minn Kota plus a rudder it moves swiftly. Hard for my dad to let it go but his 2008 has only been on the water a few times so its nice. 2 Quote

Super User gim Posted June 10, 2016 Super User Posted June 10, 2016 What kind of top speed do you get out of that Tracker there Ellis Juan? How come you didn't get the 75 hp motor instead of the 60? AJ, did they give you that Lund Hoodie for free after you paid thousands and thousands for a Lund boat? How about that. A free hoodie for a boat! 1 Quote

A free hoodie for a boat! It will run 35mph gps loaded. Fast enough for the water I fish. 75hp ones were hard to find in my price range...especially clean ones. This boat was really well equipped and taken care of. In an ideal world, it would definitely have a 75hp. Quote
