Clean setup!

Hey thanks. It's my first boat and clean is exactly what I was going for. I wanted all the bass boat amenities without the cluster of cables and switches that I usually see in most jon boats. I also wanted something that could fit 2 people and still plane easy with a unmodified 9.9 2 stroke if its just me. The biggest draw back is that while you can fit 2 people, it is probably best if you both fish 6' rods or shorter. I have always been a ultralight-medium guy myself so no biggie for me.

That is not a yuppie wrangler either. Stick with a V6 and 2" lift. Sorry if that offends somebody but I'm incredibly offended by the fact I can't hardly find a wrangler in that configuration anymore.

I guess dealers can sell more loaded 4 door models at a higher profit margin.

That and sadly something as easy as driving a stick seems to be a lost art anymore. Amongst my late 30 year old friends I'd say I'm 1 in 10 at best. My dad and his friends practically all drove sticks.

One of my favorite rides is my ultra-light rowing skiff. This thing only weighs about 80 pounds and it scoots right along under oars. It's excellent for drifting down my favorite smallmouth river and it's very stealthy. Bigger bass tend to pull me around a bit - but that's fun, too.  small-row-dock.jpg.966ca3c3a5e75300e7f893b20268c2ce.jpg

Picked up my new ride this weekend down in Arkansas. Wife gave the blessing if i agreed to stop at Big Cedar Lodge/Tablerock lake for a few days on the way back! Boat is a 2018 tracker heritage. Purchased from original owner who sold after using it just twice for a total of 5.4 hours due to health issues. Boat is practically new. Looking forward to getting more serious about fishing!

Finally pulled the trigger on my first bass boat after fishing out of a pelican bass raider for years.  Purchased a new to me 2014 Skeeter TZX 190 with 43hrs on it.  Can’t wait to upgrade the electronics.

Nice, geez that’s hardly broke in for that age. Should be a bit more “sporty” than the pelican ?

I’d upgrade the bow mount too, the Edge is junk.

1999 Triton TR-21 with a Mercury 250 Pro XB on it. Got it with only 56 motor hours on it so it's basically new. I love this boat.

I spent all summer of 2019 getting this boat ready, raised floor, extended deck, seats, bases, rod locker, helix 7, Fortrex 80lb trolling motor, all switches, electrical, aluminum angle brackets, 3 bank onboard battery charger, swing tongue, etc. It is a 2008 Tracker Grizzly 1654? 48? with 40hp 4-Stroke Mercury. The boat sat in a garage for 10 years doing nothing-it never touched the water. After a $400 fuel flush/impeller change, it was ready to take out. Took way too long to build out but had a helluv a time doing it in the garage. The boat shop said he never seen a Fortrex on a Jon Boat and it was the best build he ever seen.

Took it out a few times and it ran 32 on the gps.

Anyhoo - The wife hated it. Doesn't handle any kind of chop on the water (she has a bad knee) and she can't get in it or out of it too well.

New boat - 2019 Crestliner 1750 Bass Hawk, 115 Merc Pro XS as of 2-10-2020. Awaiting at the dealer...

I have a get away house in Big Sandy, Tn. up on Kentucky Lake. I bought a 18' PolarKraft here in Florida and took it up there so I don't have to drag my big boat up there whenever we get away. I love that aluminum hull due to all the river rock bottom boat launches there. My fiberglass 22' Triton would be trashed on the ramps we use...

Alumacraft tunnel hull 1650 tiller steer 25hp Tohatsu and a Minn Kota MAXXUM 70 with recessed foot control and a Lowrance Hook 7 split shot.

Super basic boat.  I wanted something that was small enough for one person but big enough for two.  This fits the bill.
