Hello all. Anybody fish the Nories Bug from Kinami Baits? All thoughts and/or tips greatly appreciated.

I've been using these since they came out, but they are not one of my go-to baits. For me, they're one of those baits that look better than they produce. I still have about 30 of them in one of my plastics bags, but they don't see much use.

I basically use these only when my regular baits aren't producing, and I want to down-size for tough bite times.

I fish them on a light T-rig; 1/0 light wire EWG hook and 1/16oz weight.

Tried them weightless and caught nothing but dinks.

They might make a good bait for C-rigging, but I rarely use a C-rig.

Sorry for the negative report, but they just haven't done it for me.

Chers,

GK

I had bought a few packs about a year or so ago.  I never really slayed the fish with them, but I do remember it seemed like I would get more bites when I fished the bait backwards.  I fish the GYCB Kreature backwards to, so I dont know if it was because I had more confidence with it backwards, or if it just had better action.

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, etc.  Sunfish bite the legs off of mine.  I've only caught a handful of bass on them, and other creature baits really produce better.  The Sabertail Bug and the Baby Brush hog outfish the nories bug every time.

I agree.   One of those baits that looks better than it works (in general)

Can't go wrong with the GYCB Kreature.

Glad I read this,  I was looking at these at Wally World today after work and thought about buying a pack to try.  I am a sucker for something different.  Oh well...live and learn. ;D

I own a bunch of packs I purchased on clearance at Academy, and have always used them as a finesse jig trailer.  I bite off the first part with the legs, and rig it up.  They work fine, but nothing too special.  They do look bad arse by themselves, even though I've never tried them on a t-rig.
