Second go around for us with this pup, and none of it was her doing.

We first took in this purebred Siberian husky 3 years ago when her original owner became very ill.

After 10 days or so, she was rehomed to a very nice couple down state.

Unfortunately, their personal life took a hard left turn and they could no longer provide for Sasha.

We Always ask folks that if for any reason they can't keep a dog they get from us,

please consider calling us first, before dropping them off to a shelter.

We can't always take them in but if we can , we will.

This is one of those.

Warm weather makes it much more doable.

Sasha is 6 years old now (birthday Valentine's Day 2017), in good health, spayed, fully vetted, house & kennel trained, walks well on leash, rides the paddleboard, knows how to bike-jore, likes to camp & really, REALLY loves humans.

She even served as the "dog of honor" in a wedding ceremony.

We simply need to set her up with her next adventure..

She goes to the groomer on Thursday for a 'spring cleaning'.

Sasha's a little sweet heart and will make someone a great companion.

More to follow.

Sasha sounds like quite the outdoorsy dog. Good luck with finding her new home. She’s obviously in excellent hands until then! Doing some real good, important work A-Jay. I think you are responsible for many a happy dog.

Wish there were more people like you in the world.

We would then have homes for all dogs and cats.

Thank you very much for the support.

And while it has it's challenges,

we are sort of set up for this deal.

And in a big man way.

Of course it was totally by design.

It’s always a bummer to see dogs given up by their humans, but thankfully she came back to you two.

I hear ya, but we never judge.  We have no say as to how it all goes down, until they are here.  Then we have all the power.  Usually works out for the better.

MEET, fall in LOVE & ADOPT this gorgeous and sweet dog. Sasha the Husky is downright amazing. She is 6 years old, spayed, fully vetted, microchipped, and on year round flea / tick / heartworm preventive. She's fairly petite at just under 50lbs. Sasha walks like a dream on leash, is 100% house-trained as well as kennel trained. She loves all snow activities (of course), loves to run while you run or bike, run zoomies around your fenced in yard, go to the lake and paddleboard with you . . . What Sasha REALLY loves most of all is people. She is ultra friendly, not a jumper, plays nicely with all ages (with those that play respectfully) and at the end of, shoot ~ ANY time of the day, she wants to be by your side, at your feet or in your lap for a cuddle. In short, if you are looking for a fun, healthy, sweet, quiet, cuddly dog that you don't have to fret about training ~ Sasha is the PERFECT dog for you.

Sasha should not be trusted with cats & would do best with a similar sized male companion, or as an only dog.

You can Post a comment on youtube, here on facebook or send me a FB private message if you're interested.

Backstory ~ Her family fell on traumatic times and are not able to keep Sasha, despite their intense heartache. We offered to foster her & find her that perfect forever home.

The video sharing is a big part of this.

I’ll trade you a GP for Sasha. He’s been getting me up every night this week between 11-1:30 to go out, just because he’s bored. I’ll make the drive. ?

OK but you have to shave him to the skin first ~

Yard and grass is looking really nice already. Lush and green, just how it should be. A dogs outdoor paradise.

Sasha is liking it here at The Pawz Pack Inn.

Seems yesterday's Grooming made a significant difference in her appearance.

Sasha just chilling on a rainy Saturday ~

Her story has been shared on various social media deals several hundred times.

Hard to believe we still get to hang out with this little lady.

She is a very good looking dog. I know my wife and I wish we could adopt another dog but, our current boy is an only pet type.

At this point it's hard to tell who's having a better time with this deal.

Sasha or us.

Huskies are known to have parti-colored eyes. This is when a single eye has two different colors, for instance, a combination of blue and brown, which is often blended near the side of the eye.

Can really see that in this shot.

May be an image of dog

It's Sasha Saturday here today ~

She is totally digging the summer like weather.

It's sort of painfully obvious that Sasha feels right at home here now.

3 Weeks to the day with us and Sasha is on there way to her new forever home.

It's her third and we're hope that's a charm.

Spent a couple of hours with new family which included a male red & white malamute

and the introduction went well.

Good Luck young lady and thanks for being a sweetheart.

Wish they all went this way.

Hopefully this is her forever home. Seems her new family is quite familiar with the breed which is always a plus.

Good on you and Lynn for taking her back in and finding her a new home.

Thanks for sharing A-Jay. I’ve been wooed to the snow dog way having had two huskies for the last 7 years up until a couple months ago when one crossed the rainbow bridge unexpectedly and now down to one.

I enjoyed all of your pictures of Sasha and glad to see she made it to a new furever home.

Our female doesn’t tend to get along with other females and she’s starting to get used to being the only child (dog anyway) again.

Losing one really makes me question what I want to do in the future. Reading this post sure makes fostering seem like a good option, though I’m sure we’d fail the fostering with the first one.
