Completely new to swimbaits. Looking at these 3 rods. Looking to throw 2-6 ounce hard glide baits. Appreciate your thoughts.

Which levante. The leviathan?

That's what I assumed

The heaviest bait I throw is a heavy sink Spro 8" which is a little over 5oz.  The Dobyns 806 felt like I was at the limit and I didn't enjoy throwing it around all day.  If you get a Dobyns, I think an 807 is more versatile/useful for the 8" hudds and swimmers.

Thanks guys. Yes the Levante rod would be the Leviathan. Appreciate your assistance. No love for the Loomis Pro 966?

IMX Pro 966 will handle hard glide baits that size plus do a solid job with top jig hook soft baits up to an 8" Hudd. One of the very few "do all" SB rods plus the lifetime warranty is tough to beat. For 2-4oz the Dobyns 806 is tough to beat, but if you're going up to 6oz you'll appreciate having the 966.

IMX-Pro would be my choice.  I'm looking to purchase one that is a little less powerful than you are looking at.  I have several of the IMX-Pro CBR's, and they are fantastic.
