Seriously though. I could do all my fishing with a senko, a cover shot 4/0 hook, and mh rod. 
I just like having every base covered.

2 oz is a lot especially if one hasn't ever use it. Nothing wrong with you, I just add an option.

Me too...rods and crankbaits.  Both are great to look at and fondle during winter ??

The Kistler Helium 7 foot hvy fast is the rod I use for pitching and mild flipping. If i need more spine, then I pull out the true flippin' stick. The 7 footer does fine for 75 percent of my flipping needs and is much lighter. With a good strong line, a 7 foot hvy rod will work.
