Dannyinorthidaho Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Guys i mostly fly fish but i really want to try n secure to my outcast cruzer my spin rod & 1 crankbait rod. I have rod leashes but guess a bungie around the bladders would work. How do u secure xtra rods? Quote
airshot Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 You belly boaters are a different breed, that is something that I find interesting but no interest in trying...heck I wouldn't venture out with just one rod, more or less three!! Quote
Dannyinorthidaho Posted May 11, 2023 Author Posted May 11, 2023 Well I sold my great boat because I needed a reliable truck more than I need a boat. It sucks I feel almost helpless not being able to stand in my boat & take off 1 Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted May 13, 2023 Super User Posted May 13, 2023 When I was float tubing, I made a 4 rod holder out of pvc. Easy to make, the rods sat in the tubes butt end down, and they were pretty much out of the way. Looked for some pic's of my set up, but looks like they got deleted. Quote
Super User ATA Posted May 13, 2023 Super User Posted May 13, 2023 I keep it simple two main and one as backup at the back of my seat Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted May 13, 2023 Super User Posted May 13, 2023 Usually one spinning rod, occasionally an additional bait casting rod, but I'd rather use the space for a short handled net than a second rod/reel. Quote
