Haven't heard anything about mine, got mine off backorder too  To be fair, the estimated ship date is June 1st or 2nd Called Cabelas a week ago and I was told the same thing, they currently have it listed as 500$ I think on their website, an absolute steal for anyone who's interested about getting one. Hopefully we both get ours soon. Extremely excited! 1 Quote

Born 2 fish Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Mine is supposed to be here between June 2-12. I already have my endura max 55 and garmin striker 4 plus ready to go. 1 Quote
D Rock Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 I’m looking into a trailer for my bass raider do you guys thing I can convert this? I’ve seen it done before just wanted some input if anyone has done this. Also the trailer doesn’t have a title not sure if it’s worth buying for $150. Thanks Another pic of the trailer I saw some posts about the bass raiders being on sale. You guys should check your local academy’s I got mine for a steal back in March. It was showing 479.97 the when I scanned it...... Needless to say I bought it and I’ve already built a custom deck for it. Working on getting a trailer. Quote
Gator_Bait Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 WOW!!! $119.95...how many did you buy?  Yea I would buy it for $150. It looks to me as having real possibilities, if you like to tinker and build things. The frame itself looks to be good...in the pictures. The wiring, lights, bunks, etc. can easily be redone to fit what you want. I would probably put a flat deck on it with roller bunks first 4 ft. so I could just walk out on it when it's backed in the water. Throw on a new set of tires and wheels, don't forget to replace the bearings, and you're ready to fish.  NOW...here's the kicker...you said the trailer doesn't have a title. If the trailer is close to you, I would look closely to see if there is a data plate on it somewhere and try to clean it enough to get any numbers off it, if it isn't handy go to step 2. Second I would spend some time on the phone with your state's DOT and tell them about it to see if getting a title and plate would be possible or a real problem. Then you can make an informed decision. States range from A. "no problem, you don't need a title or tag on a boat or utility trailer" to Z. moron stupid laws and enforcement on trailers. Know every detail before you pull a penny out of your pocket! 1 Quote
D Rock Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 Thank you for the advice! I only bought one boat it was the last one in stock and it was missing the seats but still worth it if you ask me. I’m waiting till tomorrow to call the DOT because I was worried about the title. I’ll check for those number. Thanks again. 1 Quote
@reelChris Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 That thing looks like a basket case.  I don't think I'd go higher than $50, but the lack of a title means you'll have to do a bunch of leg work to get it registered.  With a 20% coupon you can find almost anywhere, Harbor Freight's $300 trailer would only be $260, probably equivalent to $150 + repair costs for the one you're looking at, and everything would work out of the box:  https://www.harborfreight.com/1090-lb-Capacity-40-12-in-x-48-in-Utility-Trailer-62645.html  1 Quote

Not wide or long enough. 1 Quote

I bought the trailer this morning for $120, I’m from Texas the DOT says I can register it as homemade trailer just need to show them a pic of the trailer and get a signature from the seller. I ordered some new rims, tires, a pair of hub and bearing replacement kits and a LED trailer light kit all online so I can save a few bucks lol that was $135. As of now I’m in $255 and just need to build a platform for the boat and install everything when it comes in. I’m actually excited to work on it lol. Oh and the registration for the trailer will come out to $69 with tags for the year. Thanks again I’ll post pics once I’m done. 1 Quote

That's not bad to register and tag it, could have been a lot worse. I saw a cool idea for a trailer...if I can find the picture again I'll post it.  Where in TX are you?  1 Quote
