I use a cut down ore on a trolling motor mount. It works perfect.

That’s a good idea. Nicely done.

I have a machine and fab shop at my disposal, so it makes sense to just build from scratch. If I didn’t I’d definitely go the paddle route.

I also have a machine shop at my disposal i’m a tool and die maker. This was just to easy and it works perfect.

KISS is usually the best answer.

I’m intrigued to see how much difference the rudder makes.

It makes a huge difference for me my trolling motor is mounted up front. Without the rudder down the back is all over.

Tried out the rudder.  Wow, the boat handles 1000% better. It’s a game changer.

I need a favor from someone that has an Endura Max motor.  If someone could measure the distance from the mounting surface (red line) to the shaft, I’d appreciate it.

Year two of trying to find this boat, anyone know where I can pick one up? All my bass pros are sold out and they don't know when a restock is coming.

I just found a BR 10e NXT in stock this weekend at Bass Pro in St. Charles MO.

I found a guy off Facebook Marketplace who's gonna sell me a 10E with upgraded seats and a hummingbird fish finder/trolling motor for 800$ best part about it is it's one town over for me. I'm going this evening to take a look at it.

Does anyone use a Minn Kota Traxxis?

It's time for a new TM, and my current motor is a Motorguide 30" shaft.  I hate having to hunch over every time I need to use the TM (I'm pretty tall).  I thought the best bet would either be a 36" Traxxis with the tilting handle, or a 42" Endura Maxx?  Thoughts?

The only issue is the Traxxis doesn't seem to be available many places? BP/Cabelas says "this product is no longer available"?

Anyone have thoughts? I want to go ahead and get it ordered.

I've takin the Traxxis out of the running. They aren't available at BP.

So it's between the 36" and 42" Endura Maxx. It's just hard to decipher exactly how high a 42" will be.

Update:
I ordered the 42" 55lb. I figure if it's too long I can cut the shaft down. However when standing I think it's going to be about right. Based on my rough measurements, the handle should be right at my palm when my arm is hanging naturally.

bulge in the floor?

Hi All,

I just got used Pelican Bass Raider 10E DLX. She looks mighty fine however I noticed that it had a bulging area towards the front. The middle part is kinda soft but the back is pretty solid and stable.

When you walk on the bulging area, it seems like something is in there and my theory was it may be a styrofoam that shifted somehow.

So my question... has anybody here encountered something similar or have any idea how to fix it?

I can cover it all up with the puzzle piece floor mat but that uneven flooring will always bother me and could cause someone to trip over it and fall overboard.

from the side, the floor almost looks like this line.

Got word the my 10e NXT shipped. Going to be interesting to see how this compares to the crestliner I used to have. The nice part about this is that my GF lives two houses off a small lake so it will be nice to just wheel it done to the water instead of trailering 45+ minutes. Excited to get back on the water after a few years away.

So I'm getting my 10E this Friday, we're going to bass pro and picking it up with a pickup truck, will we get pulled over for having the boat in the bed? Also how do we secure it? I'm guessing some kind of straps/wires?

Do you stand to fish in your 10E?

I thought about a foot control, but I stand in my Pond Prowler, and it's not nearly stable enough to be doing the one foot balance.

no I dont stand very often so it should work out ok for me

I have a similar setup, except I use the shaft from an old trolling motor, and attached a product called Bullnose Rudder.  I think it was about $35 for the rudder online.  Same principle as your set up.  If you have an old paddle lying around, your option is cheaper.  Mine works awesome also.

A buddy of mine fishes online Kayak tournaments. It got me thinking....

It's to bad there is not a similar organization for the plastic boat crowd.  It would be fairly simple to implement, and a lot of fun.

Congrats tsb106. She's good looking for sure.

Anybody got a pic of the Bullnose?

Does anyone use a switch panel for Nav lights on the raider? I saw a guy in YouTube using it and it looked pretty sweet. Also what would be a good nav light kit to use?
