OG SmashSauce Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 ok....so, we take out the boat for the first time and the anchor works fine. yesterday, we take boat into cabelas and they add a 3 in 1 cone and then update the software. Take the boat out this morning and anchor mode doesnt do anything. It just beeps 3 times and nothing. I tried calibrating and it wont calibrate. I tried using the remote and the remote only turns the motor but the speed and anchor do not work...lol Using the pedal it does turn normal and speeds work fine. Anyone run into this before? You think this is a software issue maybe? Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted April 27, 2023 Super User Posted April 27, 2023 Probably - take it back to Cabelas...they mucked it up, they gotta fix it. Quote
InfantryMP Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Beeping three times typically means you have lost GPS signal. There are two calibrations that must occur with the Ghost, the heading, and I think the GPS calibration. I would ensure the Ghost is updated to the most recent software, and then try to do both calibrations again. The heading is easy, you can do it in the garage. The 2nd will be your rotations on the water. Cabelas will not really be able to do much in the shop if it has lost calibration for GPS, because you need to be on the water to calibrate. Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted April 27, 2023 Super User Posted April 27, 2023 Like @InfantryMP said the 3 beeps when pushing the button means it doesn't have GPS signal. They shouldn't have needed to do anything inside the boat, but check to make sure the the GPS/Heading sensor is connected and then move on to the software and calibration. Quote
