Around here there are 10 in a bag at 77 cent per bait, the packaging looks the same as you show.

GYCB was sold to another company and this is the new packaging. Still same product I believe.

That’s what I normally pay online. Rarely buy tackle in stores but was in Walmart and picked up a few packs. 4.98 for 7 baits

I assume they drop the number of baits so that Walmart can look like they are giving you a deal.  Kinami did the same thing.  Normal packaging for the 5 inch Senko is 10 to a pack.  The logo has changed since the company was sold to GSM Outdoors.  Same formula as before for the Senko plus they have been adding new products and cancelling those that didn’t sell well.

Hence why I make my own. I bought 2 molds and 1 gallon ($180 total) of plastisol a year ago, still have some left and I've already come out in the green. Hell, last summer between me, my son, and 2 friends we saved money.

How many does each mold make?

I bought GYM's for YEARS. Got tired of them tearing after every 2nd bite. I make my own now with a sinking plastisol, no salt, and I SLAM bass on them. The salt creates cavities, cavities create weak points, weak points are vulnerable and tear. It's a by product of adding salt is all. Nothing against them, I just like my baits a bit more durable....like my Toyota Tundra.

I would never buy Senkos at Wal-Mart. The 7 per pack at their regular price is kind of a rip off. I always get them on clearance at either Dicks Sporting Goods or with a gift card at Cabelas.  I have scored enough from Dicks that I probably don't need to buy them for the rest of my life. I do like to try at least one or two new colors each year just for the sake of variety. This year it's pro blue and fire craw but really all you need is green pumpkin black flake, black with blue flake and something natural.

Good ol "Pumpkin Seed" still produces. Only color Sticks I have in my bag are GP/Blk, Wtrmln/Red, Black/Blue, Motor Oil, & Pumpkin Seed. If I dont catch anything on those....I go home ?

That explains the quantity. It's probably an exclusive they have with GYCB. They're always looking for a way to cheapen everything.

Same quantity in Academy but the "sale" price is $5, normal is like $6 something. They still had packs of the old 10 count for $7 a bag so I grabbed a bunch.  This is as of 15 minutes ago.

The Gamy senko is killer around here. It just shimmies a certain way.

No denying the OG GYS is a great bait.

Yep and my time is worth way more than saving a few bucks on senkos.

I have bags and bags if GYCB senkos but my trusty worms from Wacky Worm work just as well and I can get them by the droves for cheap!

I get mine at Walmart. Guess I am penny wise and dollar foolish.

I fail to see the issue with the pricing: $4.98/7 = $0.71 is less than $7.60/10.

(Yes you do have to recognize it is not really a deal).
