Super User bowhunter63 Posted April 21, 2023 Super User Posted April 21, 2023 Does any one know what happened to Old School bass fishing videos on YouTube. I watch em at work when we’re slow. I went there and all his content is gone. Sucks had some really good videos on there 1 Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted April 21, 2023 Super User Posted April 21, 2023 Probably got a C&D for posting copy-written material. 2 Quote
Skunkmaster-k Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 That sucks. I’ve watched most of the videos on there, some of them twice. 2 Quote

Super User Team9nine Posted April 22, 2023 Super User Posted April 22, 2023 1982-1992, maybe a few years after. Nixon, Clunn, Brauer, Fritts - those type guys. Not sure about translating to today’s fishing, but that was near the peak of the great specialists and pattern fishermen, IMO. 2 1 Quote
Super User WRB Posted April 22, 2023 Super User Posted April 22, 2023 Can’t overlook Hank Parker or Roland Martin. Tom Quote

Thanks I will add that to my list of watching they start at 1986 since only one video (the classic year book) is posted in the 1982/1983 range. That's ok 1986-1992 will keep me busy for a while 1 Quote
GANGGREEN Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 I've been searching for years for a full collection of "The Fishin' Hole with Jerry McKinnis". I loved those shows and would gladly binge watch the entire series if anyone sold them as a DVD collection or streamed them to a particular service. Anyone? 1 Quote
Josh Smith Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 I've been looking for a collection of Tom Mann's stuff. Haven't found much on YouTube or anything for order. I suspect this is all copyrighted, but there's not enough perceived interest to release it. Quote
Super User bowhunter63 Posted April 24, 2023 Author Super User Posted April 24, 2023 Guido Hibdon was a great finesse fisherman. Quote
MAN Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Youtube "old fishing shows". I think the youtuber is Patrick Ross. He has over 200 shows compiled. I watch them all religiously. 2 1 Quote
HudsonAngler Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Oh man, that's a bummer. I haven't checked out Old School's channel in a while, but that's weird that all his videos are gone. Do you know if he made any announcement or if something happened to his account? 1 Quote

I loved that show, my favorite fishing show. Second to that was Jimmy Houston Outdoors. 1 Quote
Rockytop Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 The Lynn Dollar channel is good but it's all old tournaments as far as I remember. The channel the OP is talking about was old fishing videos by Bill Dance, Roland Martin, Jimmy Houston, Rick Clunn, and a lot more. I hate that it's gone I enjoyed watching them, it took me back to being a kid and going to the video store on Friday nights with my dad or watching TNN at my grandparents after Sunday dinner. 2 Quote
wonkyrig Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Huge bummer. I was watching those at night to chill out before bed and try to absorb some info. Quote
