Troy85 Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 I'm planning a trip to Guntersville for Mid June. I'm planning on staying around mid lake, I booked a place just north of Mill Creek, near Waterfront Grocery. I've only ever been to Guntersville during April, I want to see it in the summer when the grass is mostly topped out. Are there any specific parts of the lake that fish better in the summer than others? Quote
Super User Tennessee Boy Posted April 20, 2023 Super User Posted April 20, 2023 I prefer the Waterfront grocery area in June. ? If you like the bank fish docks. If you like offshore fish Pine Island. 1 Quote

Super User Tennessee Boy Posted April 20, 2023 Super User Posted April 20, 2023 Pine Island is big and it can take a while to find them but it can be epic when you do. Personally I would fish docks. If they’ve moved off the docks then go offshore. My PB came off a dock near Waterfront in June. I caught my PB off one corner of the dock and then caught a new PB 5 minutes later off the other corner of the same dock. Quote

At some point in the summer they will move out of the creeks. They probably won’t be in the backs of the creeks in mid June. 1 Quote
