I’m just going to throw this out there. They seem like a strange company. They have been around forever.

They have a weird distribution system. If they have a central website, I can’t find it. They make some pretty nice stuff, but also make cheap stuff for walmart. They seem to make a lot of different products, but some are only sold in combination with other baits. For example, someone gave me the 128-piece worm kit, and it has just a few worms that I really like, but the only way to get anymore would be to buy another kit. Maybe they have more stuff for sale somewhere else? It seems like they would have high manufacturing costs due to the wide variety of products, and small return based on limited distribution.

Maybe they’re just waiting to be gobbled up like all the old lure companies?

Am I missing something? Anybody know more about them?

Their baits are affordable and effective but don't know much about the company.

The Clunn series Jerkbaits work well for a fraction of the price.

They don't have the wobble of a 110 or Spro but I've had good success with them.

Have you checked Amazon for specific baits ?

A google search brought up what seems to be their website, although it’s poorly designed and unnavigable. I’ve used their STX jerkbaits before and really liked them. Seems to be a smaller company.

A few years ago, a Wal Mart near me had the Lucky Strike 4" and 6" curly tail worms on clearance for .25 per pack. I bought 20 bags. I kept some, gave some to a friend and my grandson. They were stiff, but we boiled them and laid them out on a paper towel. They worked good. The 6" tequila sunrise color was a favourite.

Mo I wish I could have made out as well as you. 4” and 6” black ct’s and 4” and 6” pumpkinseed CT’s were a killer.

I’ll put them up there with some of my favorite baits. I think Lucky-E-Strike took a nose dive as of recently.

Arnt lucky e strike made by lucky craft ?  I was always under the impressions those were baits that didn’t make the cut Q/A wise  for lucky strike during the mfg process. Rather than throw away.  they sold them as lucky E  strikes .  I could be wrong.

That’s the jerkbait that I lost what could have been close to my PB on on Shearon Harris years ago.

Which site is that?

The worms I got were not soft, but I wouldn't call them stiff. They're a lot more durable than most worms because of that, so that's not all bad. I like some of the colors - they have one that looks just like a live worm in the water.

Yeah, I've got some of their jerkbaits and squarebills in some nice colors. No complaints.

They have some stuff, not much. I'm not like desperately trying to find anything, I was just wondering if I'm missing something obvious, it seems like they would sell all their stuff somewhere. I see they have a facebook page, but I don't do facebook.

Just saw these news headlines and remembered this discussion: L-E-S Acquisition

That’s very encouraging news.  It’s good to see someone buy a company because they appreciate it’s heritage.  I hope it’s successfully and leads to more similar acquisitions.   I’ll be supporting them.

This is great.  Not gobbled up by a mega corporation like pure fishing....bought by a fisherman that wants to restore the brand. ?

I liked their wacky weedless jigheads.  They hold up well to being skipped around docks and boat lifts and when the weed guard eventually falls out you got your monies worth since they are cheap.  Never had a hook point roll on me or a hook break either.  Shame they appear to be gone now.

I believe that Lucky Strike lures, and Luck-E-Strike lures are 2 different companies.

That is the exact worm I did well with for numbers a couple years ago. I didn’t even boil them first…

Luck-E-Strike 4" ringworm was the first artificial I ever caught a bass on. Owe a certain amount of my passion and success to them, hope to see the company thrive.
