MSBASSCHAMP Posted March 10, 2011 Author Posted March 10, 2011 Yes I'm sorry, how long of a rod can be stored in the locker? Both seem like good boats. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted March 11, 2011 Super User Posted March 11, 2011 If you have a chance to ride in the Xpress you won't even consider the Tracker. Xpress has the lift of a glass boat. Quote
MSBASSCHAMP Posted March 11, 2011 Author Posted March 11, 2011 Well the deck is smaller and I want to be able to flip with 2 people on the front deck. I have ridden in the xpress but I was the standard HD hull, and I have the HD hull style duck boat. Quote
Super User Catt Posted March 11, 2011 Super User Posted March 11, 2011 The Tracker deck is longer but not wider & your buddy will in all likely hood have to stay on the rear deck. The Xpress's advantage is the Hyper-Lift® Hull; the H18SS is rated for a 150Hp & while I don't advocate motors smaller then max hp the Xpress does perform exceptionally well with a properly setup Yamaha F115TLR. jeepcrazy Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I have ridden in both and owned an Xpress up until last week. Go Xpress all the way. That boat was not only indestructible, but it never disappointed me once. They really are great boats, IMHO. Quote
done Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 How much difference is there in the from deck on the 190 and the 175? In BPS they do not look that different. I have a 175 and I would not try 2 up front. Course I keep 5-7 rigs on deck with me. Though I could never see enough difference between the 175 and 190 to justify the extra cost. literally you get 1 foot and that's about it. Same electronics, same livewell, pumps, etc. That's a tough call, but if these guys are right about the Xpress ride, then I would lean that way. Though my 175 rides nice for me. and having the middle seat is nice when me and my bud go out and bring one of the youngins with us. The rod locker on the Trackers leave much to be desired but I never use mine. I keep my rods on deck with me. Quote
Super User Catt Posted March 13, 2011 Super User Posted March 13, 2011 While the Xpress outstanding I don't know why they didn't extend the front deck all the way back to the console. My Stratos is the same way and I can't tell you how many times I inadvertently stepped off the deck hurting myself. Quote

Single console and enough room to stand and fish both sides of the boat. Quote
