Had this for about a month or so now... Between the snow and now the flooding, it's still in the basement (it's dirty down there, so beware)

I still have to rig up the paddle strap, anchor system and then install my fish finder, but other than that she is ready to roll! Going to take the back seat out and move the front one back about a foot.

Thanks! I wanted a kayak... but wanted something with a little more room, so this thing is perfect. Paddle it like a 'yak, or attach a trolling motor on the back, or get the rowing kit (but I've had enough rowing for my lifetime). I've even seen a few people that made sailing set ups for it.

Nate, congratulations. All these kayaks do is increase your fishing opportunities. All those places youv'e been beating the bank, now you can get out there where the fat chicks live. Good luck........Mike 8-)

Nice.  You're gonna have a great time with it.  As much as I enjoy my Z7, there is much to be said for getting right down there at water level with my canoes.

You can do it all right from your seat.  It's fun getting towed around a bit by a good fish.

Very stealthy, and you can get into places a regular boat cannot go.

Good luck, and enjoy.

I've been looking for a small fishing craft and would appreciate your input on how yours handles on the water.

Nice. I've been looking at getting a kayak. Just don't have the funds right now.

one thing about the portable units, atleast in my opinion is they make for a more personal experience if that makes sense. besides the ninja fishin aspect i love being able to get into the meat & potatos of the slop/pads where only the portables can go

i just lift my TM and oar deep into the pads

Yep. That looks like one of the lakes I fish. Love that 'toilet flush' under a frog bait out there in the pads ;)

Yeah, I took a trip on a kayak last year and have been hooked ever since. I saw soooo many fish (and caught a ton more) that I never would have seen wading or in a motor boat. Heck, I never knew the muskie population was so good in my section of the Juniata, I floated over like 15 muskies in 2 miles of river... big ones too. The packs of smallies were amazing too, I couldn't even count them... But I digress.
