Rangerphil Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 I got my dream boat in 2004 a ranger 205 with a 225 merc! Just wondering what would be everyone's dream boat if they could have it today? Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted March 6, 2011 Super User Posted March 6, 2011 That is a sweet boat and congrats by the way. I'd have to go with a combo fish/ski boat to keep the family happy, so my pick would be the Nitro 290 Sport with a 225 Merc. The Z-7 sport would be a nice consolation prize. http://www.nitroboats.com/boat/?boat=3297 Quote
Rangerphil Posted March 6, 2011 Author Posted March 6, 2011 Nice, please don't tell my wife they make those! ;D Quote

Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted March 6, 2011 Super User Posted March 6, 2011 One that doesn't come with payments. Quote
MNGeorge Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 A RiverPro 201 Low Pro RCC...those hard to get to river Smallies would become much more accessible. oops...forgot the link for anyone intersted. http://www.riverpro-boats.com/ Quote
Fish Chris Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 I own my dream boat ! No, seriously. Sure, I'd like to also own a 200 footer, that I could travel the worlds oceans in. And maybe 6 or 12, 40 foot houseboats, to be parked around at different lakes across the US... A nice big, 24ft inland saltwater boat would be great too. But as for a fresh water / bass fishing boat, mine is just all me ! I absolutely love my 14ft baby When I look at the high performance bass boats which you guys either already own, or wish you could, I see some really amazing pieces of machinery, technology, art, etc,..... and I do really appreciate them, for what they are..... Very much in the same way I see some of those amazing motorcycle builds on TV, and think to my self, That thing is bad-arse .....even though I don't / won't ever ride a motorcycle. Also, I have to say, if I could afford it, I'd own a stupid huge, fully customized F650 truck.... just because it would look cool, and be fun to drive. I know one company that makes them, and they start at $170K !!! The point being, I sure couldn't knock somebody who had this same attitude toward their bass boat. It's just for me, those boats are just too much boat and they would only get in my way, and slow me down (figuratively speaking, of course). Peace, Fish Isn't she purdy My kind of boat picture Quote
SDoolittle Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Stratos (Champion) 210 Elite with a 250 hp Optimax Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted March 6, 2011 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted March 6, 2011 Stratos (Champion) 210 Elite with a 250 hp Optimax Me too. I had mine in for service last week and there is a 210 Elite DC sitting in the showroom. I think I wiped most of the drool off of it. : Quote

I don't want a 20 ft. glitter barge, just a simple fishing boat would do nicely. Tom Quote

done Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 That's easy something I can fish in, that someone else pays for, I can use all the time, and it fills itself up with gas. Quote
Stingray23 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 My dream boat would have to be either a Ranger or a Skeeter. http://www.rangerboats.com/models.cfm?gid=29&mid=6004#|gallery http://www.skeeterboats.com/products/7/4 Realistically though, I'd be EXTREMELY happy with a Nitro Z7. http://nitroboats.com/boat/?boat=3296 Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted March 7, 2011 Super User Posted March 7, 2011 Ranger z522 with a 225 Merc OptiMax : that's my dream boat !!! huge tackle lockers and huge rod lockers for swimbait rods (8'6" rods!!!) would be nice but actually i want a Ascend FS10 kayak they sell at BPS , that thing is sweet !!! i would be on the water at least 3-5 days a week with this thing !! http://www.basspro.com/Ascend-FS10-Sit-In-Angler-Kayak/product/10213821/-176404 Quote
Fish Chris Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Thank you Vinny I really love my truck too. But I have to tell you, while maybe 1 in 20 people will come up to me and just freak the heck out about how "they just love my truck.... and they never saw one done like that... that color, and blacked out too"..... about another 15 out of 20 will just look at it from the corner of their eye, with this look that says; "OMG ! It's not white ! It's not a Super Crew cab ! How could a guy possibly blend in with the crowd in that oddball thing" ?!?! .... LOL Which is quite alright. As when I see a white, Supercrew, with chrome rims, I always think.... "Yawn. Geeez, I'm sure getting sleepy" LOL Really though, wouldn't it be a ***** to walk out of the grocery store, looking for your white super crew cab.... among like 20 other white supercrew cabs ? One things for sure, I've walked out to some really big, slam full parking lots, and I've never seen not even one blacked out, Stone Green truck ! It is certainly about as oddball as I am Just a perfect match Peace, Fish Quote
Super User South FLA Posted March 8, 2011 Super User Posted March 8, 2011 For Bass Boat, it would have to be a Bass Cat Eyra with a 250 Yamaha SHO or a Tuned Hyrotech VMax. or a Allison BasSport Pro with a Mercury Pro XS racing engine http://www.allisonboats.com/bass_boats/xb21_bassport_pro_2005.php Who says going fast and fishability don't go together! lynyrdsky1 Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Stratos 210 since it is pretty much a Champion with Stratos stuck to the side. Quote
