Guy had been here about 10 years, and someone killed him, cut him up and put him in a septic tank.  (Can look up online if it’s sounds unbelievable.)

I edited that last part out.

Though true, it Didn’t really add anything to my story, and didn’t want it to sound like I would ever condone anything like that, or sound like I thought it was deserved or whatever.

I’ve told most of my karen stories already but not this one.

I was wade fishing my home lake as a young man ( before I lived on it ), and I had permission and access from a friend that lived on it then.

An older man came out and asked if I lived on the lake. I said “ pretty much” as I was out there a lot. He said it’s a private lake blah blah, and I told him I had permission etc. I kept fishing while he began threatening me with calling the police. When that didn’t work, he pulled out some kind of badge and said he was with the FBI, which didn’t impress me either.

He gave up finally and went in the house.

He wasn’t as bad as  the crazy old lady that kicked my boat one time for tying up to her fence!

That is a big time crime. Impersonating federal law enforcement will get you up to 3 years in prison.

One county over where boats are allowed there's a small lake with several coves and very few docks scattered throughout. In one cove without any docks there lives a nut case who tees-up and fires golf balls into the water if you park in "his" cove to fish in it. Words have been exchanged and the police have been called, but he just won't quit. The officers say to just stay away from the zone because he's batchit crazy.

One of lakes I go to there is a group of docks that have trolling motors and/or water pumps under them or around them because the residents don't want anyone fishing near their docks. Crazy people with way too much money.

A fair number of lakeshore owners here with docks have this thing called a Weed Roller near their dock.  It's essentially an underwater pump that keeps the water moving so weeds can't grow around their dock.

People aren't allowed to use herbicide or chemicals and they must acquire a permit from the MN DNR to remove any aquatic or riparian vegetation, so they use a Weed Roller instead.  Seems to work pretty well too.

I have seen those. The people I'm referring to take specific issue with fisherman.  There are even a few that have put nets between their boat slips to snag lures. One guy in particular collects them every Monday and sells them. Luckily there aren't usually fish around his dock so I just avoid it.

It's a either casting net or a hammock stretched between both sides of the dock suspended in about 5-10 feet of water. If you cast in there you get snagged easily. Years ago I learned my lesson when I pulled one up using braid.

Tearing out/preventing vegetation on a public lake, putting out lure snaggers on public lakes......yeah this is why cats and dogs are generally much better than humans ?

^This is simply creepy.^ Placing a netting trap in public water to profit is a lesser version of placing a concrete reef in a lake to run boats aground so that you can plunder them.

Early this week I was pond fishing and some idiot interloper drove down the drive to the pond got out of his truck and begin to run his mouth, making up more lies than some dog have fleas!  He said he got the wrong address but I know that was a lie, he took out his cell phone and took a pic of the catfish I had just caught and asked if he could go fishing?  I told him fishing wasn't allowed in the pond and neither was trespassing. Some people have big nerves and other body parts which I will not mention here.

On Chautauqua I heard a home owner berate the boat in front of me for a solid 20 mins. I wasn't even fishing his dock but I spoke up and left him know his option was to let the dude alone or I was coming on his dock to give him something to call the cops about. He chose to go back in his 20 million dollar home and shut his mouth.
