I was on the susky yesterday. The day was beautiful. The river level was about 6ft on one of the gauges. Water had a slight stain. The fish seemed to be holding right out side the current breaks in 6’ of water. A little deeper than I thought. I also thought they would be more up in the slack shallow pools. It was a slow bite. Caught one right off the bat on a DT4 then switched up to drop shotting and ned rigging. Managed a few more through out the day. This was about the average size of them.IMG_2023-4-5-053353.thumb.jpeg.76fa0b862bee068ca812c4bd7caa5367.jpeg

I do not know if it’s because the water has been lower this early spring but, generally they are pushed up more into the creek mouths and flats this time of year. We seem to be a tad behind if that is the case.
