Looking at buying a 36v Fortrex, anybody know the best place to shop for one? I usually buy from Tacklewarehouse but trying to shop around. Thanks

google shopping is your friend.  It will scape any published prices from all over the web.

For that matter, Amazon does also.  Its worth a look on there as there are lots of brick and mortar shops that have amazon stores.  Amazon typically scrapes the cheapest prices and a lot of the stores are set up to offer those prices.  I bought my helix and live that way.

I would check with BPS.  The spring sales are hard to beat. Also, *** and the auction site .

Just my opinion, but I'd sure look at a Ultrex.

Yep got a brand new 50lb thrust never used for like a $80 discount.  Found on FB marketplace.   Same thing with my Garmin.

I’d check major bass boat forum classifieds. Many people buy boats with fortrex and immediately purchase an ultrex. Then sell the fortrex cheap.

@rangerjockey don't need an ultrex with all the bells and whistles, I mainly river fish shallow so I just need tough and dependable.

I'm waiting on a good spring sale I guess, Thanks for suggestions folks, Hodges Marine has the best price so far!

I got my Force and electronics from Russell Marine Products. Easy to deal with and at the time had the best deal.

Keep in mind that if you have a problem with your new motor, who is going to take care of it ???  You will get far better after the sale service from a brick and mortar store...with cheap mail order, you will need to take it off, box it back up, probably in the original packaging, send it back and wait weeks or more to get an exchange unit ( reman unit) that you will have to remount and start over !!  Sometimes it is better to spend a few extra dollars just in case!!

I do not know if those have spot lock but, I highly recommend a trolling motor with spot lock for a shallow river.
