Wind!  It was blowing, and my feet never stopped moving kicking my kayak pedal drives. I’m so tired.
it was like a brand new lake. It’s like 10 feet deeper now, and I don’t know where the fish went.   50 deg water, so I assumed they were pointed towards the shallows.  I wasn’t. Completely wrong.  But the shallows were confusing.  8 foot tall tules were completely submerged.  I was fishing behind them.

‘’I managed a 5.2lb and 3 lb bass.  We stayed all day so my friend wouldn’t skunk.  He landed a 5 and we headed home.

I’ll figure it out. I have all spring and summer.  But the bass are like footballs.  Fattest fish ever.

I’d say if you caught a 5 lb bass, you’ve already got it figured out. Nice job

Two Bass.......but they were both quality, and both you and your friend got to that magic number in my book, 5lbs.

That's actually a successful outing in my book easily.   It's all about those 5lb+ fish to me.

Exactly, I rather catch a single 5lb fish than dozens of dinks.

I actually thought about you….I threw a spinner bait half the day.  Haha.  Not even a sniff.   Biggest takeaway, it’s the 4x4 of lures. It goes thru anything.
