Bdnoble84 Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 I know the yamamoto zako is popular as a popular chatterbait trailer, but are there situations when you rig it stand alone either as a swimbait or dropshot or trailer on jigs or spinnerbaits. In my mind it seems like a more coldwater option because of its tighter action. Quote
detroit1 Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 Not that i've tried it, but you could thread it on a swing - head jig and drag it along the bottom. (i guess thats a jig trailer...duh! Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted March 30, 2023 Global Moderator Posted March 30, 2023 I tried using them as a stand alone, but after awhile I felt I had better options. Im sure they can be made to work in other scenarios tho. You just have to try them in your waters and decide for yourself Mike 1 Quote
