They will tear up your thumb if you lip them.  I catch them every day in south Florida, but half that size.  The Pitbulls of fresh water!  I can only imagine that fight!

I don't post any pics. Every time I try to post any picture it always the size is too big. I can't figure out how to get them sized right to post pics. Most of the fish I catch nobody wants to see anyway.

I'm not a tech expert.  I don't post stuff directly from my phone.  I prefer a real keyboard.   There's probably an easier way, but to get the pictures from my phone to my computer I email them to myself.  When I send the email "it" asks me what size I want it.  There's small, medium, large, and original.   I use medium.  I "think" my medium pictures are the correct size for an internet forum.  I fish alone most of the time.  If someone is with me it's easier. I'll have them take a picture and text it to me.   Mrs. B took the picture of this lunker.  LOL

I just figured nobody wanted to see a bunch of bass pics.  I do like seeing the southern boys post pics of the giants.

I've been waiting to post a pic of my 11+pounder, if & when I catch her.  Here's a rerun of my 10.2 caught in VA.

I've posted a few using Imgur, but it's not very convenient.

Not too tech savvy; what's the easiest way to post from your phone?

If you use your phone email the pic to yourself. After you hit the send button a screen pops up asking do you want to send the pic full size, small or medium. Pick either small size or medium and the reduced size pic will work in your post. Just save it in your pic library & noted the save as number to reuse it.

I love seeing the pics. I love seeing that @Team9nine is crushingly consistent FROM THE BANK, with and without wind, and @Woody B is too. I love seeing @AlabamaSpothunter's roller coaster ride, where he catches 50 bass in a day, then it fizzles, and then multiple 4 and 5-pounders in a day. I also like hearing the descriptions. There are top rate storytellers at BR, like @PhishLI, and the photos enhance the stories. And if seeing one of @T-Billy's muskies doesn't make your day, check your pulse as I doubt you have one.

If it's an Android phone

Bring the pic up in the Camera app

Tap on the 'pen' to edit

Tap on the 3-dots on the right-bottom

One of the options is 'Resize'.

Pick the size you want, then save or tap the 3-dots again and 'Save as Copy' if you want to keep the original...then post the resized version.

I'm pretty good at catching bass, I just don't normally take pictures of them. Of the photos that I have taken, I don't know how to post them, they have to be resized. I'm older (63) and don't care to take the time to learn.

Oh come on, Steve...I live my life by a quote from Isaac Asimov

"The day you stop learning is the day you begin decaying."

And remember that we're only a couple months apart in age...

AFTER I made my post, I saw your Android tutorial Ken. I'll give it a shot but like I've told you before, I'm challenged when it comes to technology.

Off topic, I live by Henry David Thoreau's "Simplify, simplify, simplify" and "Many men fish all their lives without knowing it's not the fish he is after."

Where-as I've been a 'computer geek' for over 50 years. I may not have the latest-and-greatest, but I can still work it all.

I see what I did wrong, I used the "thumbnail for forums" link. You flat said to use the "second link". Thank you. Off topic, but I hope you weren't affected by last night weather. Got rough here in SE AR, but nothing like MS.

Note that my instructions above relate to Samsung phones. Some other brands don't have all the photo options that the Samsungs do.

Found that out talking with @volzfan59

But I normally take video, put it on youtube but it is unlisted as it's most me goofing off, swearing and adding stupid sound effects for my enjoyment. Video editing is way too much work, so I do it during the winter months.

That thing has a head bump like a peacock!
