AH KRAAP. coworker stole my thunder

I knew it was going to happen.  we are pushing hard to hire college graduates.  attending college job fairs and all.  

 

I came up with an idea.  I was watching our hiring competitors, and came up with an idea to get the jump on them, with our fellow Gen-Z students.  my bosses asked all of us to compile the "lessons learned" and any ideas with one lady and get it to management.

 

My idea was simply typed into a list of bullet points.  

 

today there was an all-managers meeting, and this lady got to attend because her boss called in sick.  I got the weirdest text from her.  "she said, hey I sold your idea!  they loved it.   now how did you think you would proceed?"

 

I full on ignored her.  hahah..whatever.  my boss called to talk business and brought it up.  I flat out asked.  "did she steal my thunder?"  he asked, 
"oh no..that was your idea?"  hahahah..  all I said in return  was that, I see myself promoting again in the future and would appreciate some recognition sometimes.  I left it at that.    some people suck.  I always give credit.  ALWAYS.

Fake or not there’s no way that didn’t hurt. Lol
