Cbump Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Has anyone fished both of these models? I had the lowrider and it’s the one rod I regret selling. Grass isn’t always greener. I used It for spinnerbaits and occasionally pitching. Swim jig once also. Lowrider is Heavy Fast Expert is Heavy Mod Fast I’m getting another head Turner and curious what your thoughts are if you’ve used both. Thanks 1 Quote
Derek1 Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 No experience with the low rider. But the expert is a awesome rod. Any single hook moving bait is great on it. Pitching jigs or worms is good. Versatile rod. Also throws above its weight range. 1 Quote
Super User casts_by_fly Posted March 12, 2023 Super User Posted March 12, 2023 I have the expert and the Bucoo SR. The bucoo is listed fast also. There isn’t much difference in them and either one could be labeled either rating. The expert is a great rod. I use it for the things you listed and it’s what you’re looking for. 1 Quote
Super User BrianMDTX Posted March 12, 2023 Super User Posted March 12, 2023 No experience with the Expert. I really like my Lowrider MHF. it’s a well-made rod. 1 Quote
