Tackle bag/backpack recommendations

Looking for recommendations on a good tackle bag or backpack....I mostly do shore fishing, needs to be able to hold a decent amount of gear/lures etc

I use the Orvis guide sling the most but if you need more space I used to use the Shimano Blackmoon but it got stolen one day and I never felt like replacing it. The Orvis is way nicer to use and keep on, the Shimano was great for storage but I couldnt really fish with it on

That Aftco looks a lot like the duffle I use.  Periodically renew my NRA membership when I can get a discounted rate and, as my "gift", I get the NRA duffle.

Ive used so many brands and style and this two are the winners. KVD is holding more than Plano but I have both and I really love the way how they compact and can carry crazy amount of tackle. I have both of them in 3700 size.

But then you have to carry a wannabe military pack. Look like a airsoft guy.

I find back packs annoying, so I'm into sling packs for shore or wade fishing. If you haven't considered a sling pack for shore fishing, this one's inexpensive if you'd like to see if they're for you or not. Holds a ton of stuff. Comes with 2 boxes, but will fit 4 plus plenty more stuff. Has a glasses compartment too.

The upside to a sling is that you can leave them on you and just wind them around to your chest to dig stuff out, then wind them back around to your back. Never need to take it off and drop it on the ground. No dirt, chiggers, or sprinters running off with your goodies. Yes, it happens.

I bought a Plano 3700 Weekender bag a couple years ago for my Father as an xmas gift from Midway USA.  They were half price.  It was such a good deal, I bought one for myself too.  Disclaimer: I don't use it as my normal tackle bag, because I keep my tackle in my own boat.  But sometimes I fish in someone else's boat, and this is what I bring with.

For bank fishing rod holders are a priority for me. I do a LOT of bank beating and have gone  through 2 of the ugly stick backpacks with 2 rod holders. I wore them out pretty hard. I just bought a kastking bait boss backpack with 2 rod holders and it’s bigger and pretty comfortable. Holds more than I would ever need for a full day of bank beating.

Do these hold the larger 5700 size boxes?  If so, how many?

I have no idea of the size of the 5700 but it will hold 4 or 5 3700's (depending on brand latches & hinges) plus a couple of 3600's flat on top of those.

Interesting concept, I might get of of these, backpacks work okay, but like you said you have to take them off
