Super User FishTank Posted March 8, 2023 Super User Posted March 8, 2023 I am not one to change the look of my reels strictly for the bling factor but when I saw Gomexus had a handle that specifically matched my Daiwa Emeraldas Air FC LT, I had to jump on it. It actually helps balance the reel and it feels and looks amazing in hand. This is my third handle from them. The other two I have are on my cranking set ups and I couldn't be happier with them. They make cranking a deep bait a pleasure. Anyway, just thought I would share and see if anyone else has been using these handles. 6 Quote
newapti5 Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 I don't have the handle, but I do have similar knobs from them. I like the material - close second to cork knobs IMO. 5 Quote
PressuredFishing Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Beautiful, how do you like the emeraldas? Quote

It's designed for eging but works just fine for bass fishing. It's super light and casts well but it's not as smooth or as powerful as my Shimano Vanquish. It's just fun to fish though. 2 Quote
Tatulatard Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 And so it begins. There is no turning back btw. Quote
Super User bulldog1935 Posted March 8, 2023 Super User Posted March 8, 2023 I once found a discontinued and discounted Livre single handle closing out at Plat. A $29 short Gomexus carbon double handle on ebay. Turns out Gomexus copied Livre (except for the titanium). Mix-and-match short double with Livre post, Gomexus handle, and Avail knobs. Perfect match on low-geared JDM 1000S Inexpensive Tsubaki hook keeper with the matching carbon _____________________ First Gomexus handle I bought, I was setting up a Tica Caiman on offshore slow jigging rod. The handle Tica offered was all stainless steel, and weighed another reel. This was another inexpensive handle, $15 on Amazon, and came with a 35-g pot-metal knob. All to match an inexpensive Jigging World spiral-wrapped rod. Swap to a Livre EP37 knob turned this into a really nice jigging combo with zero torsion on your hand when you're fishing. (a niche I don't fish often enough to justify a Conquest 200). 4 Quote
A kid from Canada Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 I've got a bunch of gomexus products cause they are just so easy to buy compared to DRT and the others. (My Zillion is only on that kastking rod cause I just spooled it with new flouro, definitely doesn't live on there) 3 Quote
