TactX is a brute! Extremely strong, and extremely affordable. Love this stuff!

Personally I don't think much about what braided line costs because it lasts for years. Using 50lb Power Pro on my frog rod that was spooled in 2017.

Same here - the 50#832 on my pitching rig is going into it's 4th year as is the 40#832 on my frog rig and the 20#832 on my MH/F spinning rig. Maybe next year I'll reverse them...

I’m loving the tactix 50 braid for big swimbaits and for catfishing

Diawa J Braid.  I have tried many braids and feel J Braid is the best bang for the buck.  I use it in both fresh and salt water with no complaints.

I've got the 10lb on my Ned rig rod and I've been really happy with it.

That's pretty cool that you get free leader material with it.

I'm just wondering what the leader is - is it Gold, Blue or just a length of BasiX

What does extremely affordable even mean? Less than $10 per 100 yds.? Free? (for Glen ha ha)

Hard for me to ever switch from J Braid 8 on spinning and Sunline xplasma for casting needs. I thought Sufix 131 was the ultimate for distance casting/line management for baitcasting needs. Then tried xplasma. Never once had a braid lash with xplasma on baitcaster. It'll probably happen this year now. Since I'm not the best at line management, just can't put a price on braid for me personally. Maybe I'll try cheap Seaguar braid for backing on flouro casters. If it results in better flouro line laying vs other cheap braids, then I'll have a use for it.

Berkley X9 for me, the stuff is spectacular.  It is very cool that Seaguar includes leader material with the Tactx.

The leader material used in TactX is very similar to Red Label Fluoro.

So, it has great abrasion resistance and overall strength, but it is not a soft and supple as Gold Label

Hope this helps

About half the cost of other braids.

I normally use 832, but picked up a spool of X9 and X5.  Hopefully it's at least as good as the 832.
