So I’ve been looking at the 6th sense Draw glide bait. It’s got a pretty hefty price tag at $75 which is fine and all and I’m willing to pay but before I pull the trigger I was curious if there isn’t some other options that are a little easier on the pocket book. Id like something in the 8 inch version or fairly close to that size. And really like the side to side action when twitching it. That’s what is really drawing me to the 6th sense Draw glide bait. I love the action. So the question again is what are your opinions on less expensive glide baits with great side to side action. Thank I’m advance

Depends on what profile you are looking for and how you want to fish it. Savage Gear shine glide is a cheaper option in a shad profile. The swaver 200 is a cheaper option that sinks faster. The Sneaky Pete is a bit cheaper but sinks a lot faster.

The draw has pretty good action/sink rate. 75 isn't a lot for a glide bait though.

Honestly, the best glide bait I ever bought was from Wise Guy on eBay. It can do chopping and open water glides and they're very well balanced. I think mine was in the neighborhood of $35. It's by far my favorite and I own a Draw, FWIW. My suggestion would be to get some smaller glides to start out, 8 inches is really big imo. I started with the Thunderhawk Cha Cha glide. Like $15 and it'll give you an idea of whether or not you want to invest more money in glides. The SWaver168 is always a good option, about the same price and roughly same dimensions. The Draw isn't bad by any means, especially with the color schemes they have (that live shiner color is awesome). However, it's big, bulky and will get less bites than something like a 6". Just my 2 cents!

I forgot about the Baitsanity Antidote - it's a pretty decent glide as well.

I've got a few glides that run over $200, but I've caught more fish on a Shine Glide in the 7.25" version than any others. That would be my favorite of the affordable glides. I fish the Clutch Glide more than any other on the north of $100 end of things.

@JediAmoebaAgree with all 4 SG shine glide, g ratt sneaky pete, swaver 200, and antidote as a direct answer to @IntroC desire for something in the ball park of an 8" glide.

@kevinmyfsu Right on. That Rago Cha Cha is amazing for any level of experience. Whenever glide fishing unfamiliar waters or targeting pike with a glide, I start with a Cha Cha. Not sure if there's a better price value if you're looking for something that's hard to blow out.

I actually think the Cha Cha glides better than an SWaver. I'm considering buying a few more and getting some custom paint jobs.

I like them too but the Draw is easier to fish IMO and they are the same price.
