Anyone had a chance to try them yet? I bought a pack of the 3.8" fat swimbaits. For $3.99 I figured I wouldn't be out much but they had several bait styles that looked really nice and the prices were right.

Not yet, going to pick up a pack of their senkos and see how they do here soon. They picked a solid staple to start out with, senko, brush hog, trick worm, keitech-style swimbait. They all look good, if they got the salt content/fall rate right they'll definitely be winners for the price. I'll report back once I try them out.

Just speculation but the Stick Bait looks like a Big Bite product to me. I know Gander had a contract with Big Bite. They have that hook slot and looks to be the same colors.  If so, they have a super slow fall weightless. Not to say they wouldn’t excel in other techniques like Ned, Neko, Texas, etc.
Big Bite also makes the other shaped plastics in the H2OX line. I like Big Bite products.  Affordable and quality.

I haven't tried them but now that I know they exist I'm going to have to!

The swim baits appeal to me. The other plastic styles seem to look good but the price of the swim baits is very attractive. Thanks for making me aware!

I bought a pack recently, but haven’t used them yet. Hopefully, I will get to this week.

You never really know until you see them in the water, but they seem like they are going to have pretty good action.

What is this sorcery? How many swimbaits in the pack? May have to swing by on lunch today

Local Academy just had a sale (down to $3.79) ... The swim bait colors are consistent with good scent . They remind me of a cross between a Strike King Rage Swimmer and a BPS Speed Shad . The creature baits (baby brush hog imitation) are also good and look like Zoom made them - I'll pass on the fluke and stick worm HTOX soft plastics .... I will be trying both out this week .

6 in a pack, had to try them. Good colors that look like the good quality baits, worth a shot.

I'm sure I'll pick some up during their spring sale (Spring Classic competing sale).  I bet they will be $2.99 when the sale starts.

What is this spring classic sale you speak of? I'm new to academy sports shopping as we just had one built in the last couple months locally.

Do they have a set date that they usually have a spring sale?

All I can tell you for sure, is that Academy will have a sale while Bass Pro is having their spring classic sale.  Like Bass Pro, they will mark down their house brand items 25% or so along with other bargains.

My experience has been that Academy kind of randomly puts stuff on sale, doesn't necessarily publicize it, sometimes it's in-store and sometimes it's online only. Sometimes it's neither and you just stumble on a deal, like I did once when I price checked an $89 Shimano GLX rod and it pulled up $17. It seems like there's not really any rhyme or reason to it, and it seems to vary by region and even by store within the same city.

There's an Academy very close to my house so I'll pop in once every other week or so whether I need anything or not just to see what might be going on.

I have given up on Academy online.  I find stuff I like and it usually says, “In-store only”.   I really like Academy, but we don’t have them in Minnesota.  Their prices seem amazing and their selection and store brands look awesome.  I can never seem to make many purchases online for any sale stuff.  I am jealous of those that have them nearby.  I will look for the spring sale and hopefully get to order some stuff online.

I use to Paypal a friend that lived by a store and he'd ship my order. Now I have 4 or 5 stores within a reasonable drive so I don't have to anymore.
