Think I’ve got 5. Not enough grass in our lakes to use them much.

No grass in most of the lakes I fish them with. I like to grind them through rocks and across points.

Not sure how many I have, over 50 for sure. I probably only have 10 that I regularly use though.

No, you are not nuts.

Do you have all of the Frittsides colors and sizes? All the KVD Red-Eyed Lipless Crankbaits? What about increasing your Shad Raps #'s 5 and 7 with  all colors and then adding in some #8's and 9's.

YOU NEVER HAVE ENOUGH BAITS.  Keep on expanding your collection!

That's well over 200 in my storage. I have 2 Rubbermaid tubs filled with original Rattle Vibes, Daiwa Game Vibes, LV's, TN's  and IMA Flits, 9- 3700 thin boxes filled with various Lipless and small boxes for bank patrolling. I catch fish on them from ice out till ice in. Brian.

I only have about 3dozen, including 8 cordell spots in their clear and red plastics boxes, unused. (70's) Most others are retired / displayed and only about 8 make it in the boat. I do need to get a couple of 1 oz-ers. Those are the most fun for me.

I kept all of my dad's baits after he passed away so I have well over 100 lipless crankbaits.

Not much grass in the lakes I fish either but a Lipless is one of my top producing lures. Especially around lay downs and rocks.

Own maybe 75 to 100 of them? Carry a 3600 Plano box full with multiples of like 6 baits. What I have found if one of the four main ones I use isn't working neither will any other traps.

Truth be told, I’m not a big lipless guy. I like lips.

I love lipless cranks. Changing out some hooks today when I saw this thread. Right now I have 61 I keep in the boat with another 10-12 still in boxes on the tackle wall. I have a ways to go to catch up to @a1712 tho! Luckily I didn't lose too many this past season. Tho I did lose an LV-500 to a snapping turtle.

If you're nuts it sounds like many of us are in the same shoes. Think about it like this. @Bluebasser86 probably finds that many hanging in trees every year. ?

I definitely have a handful that see the water more often than others, that's for sure. That one you circled is definitely in the mix. That particular one is 1/4 oz. which I really like for shallower water.

I have almost no lipless instincts beyond "grassy and don't want a chatterbait" - please send help, I have more lipless cranks than I've caught fish on a lipless.

Yoing Yoing flats and then the deep water where they then pull back too has been paying off well for me these last two weeks.

Fall rate is always important on the Yo Yo retreive, so have a few different weight options.    I find regardless of the moving bait, the faster it drops on the Yo Yo, the better results.     The TN70s fall like a rock and that's what has been working for me.

Burning a trap is another common successful retrieve, but to me I just have to impart some action into my bait's retrieve.

I enjoy fishing lipless as much as the next guy, unless it's in current.  Like all other flat sided cranks, they turn sideways.  I'm a miser compared to most of you guys as I only have 21 of them.

I think I might have 7.  I have more lipless than the number of catches on lipless.  but I am getting better.  this fall, is my fall. :D

No grass anywhere near where I grew up fishing, and rattle trap was “THE” plug to throw. My grandpa had a two tray box completely full of bayou boogies, he always said that was his most productive lure, he probably never saw any grass in the water

Unless it’s dead of winter, Throw them everywhere and reel it fast. Sprinkle in some yo yo

They're a very versatile presentation IMO. Can straight retrieve at any speed, sure, but can also yo-yo them, burn and pause, jig them off the bottom if you have no grass, and they can target any part of the water column.
