No disqualifications, they just never paid up. It was a paltry amount of money, $50 in Berkley giftcards that was supposed to come with free shipping. Seven months later after back and forth with FWC and Berkley, they sent me a couple of cheap spools of mono and letter saying sorry for the wait this is what you get instead. Really rubbed me the wrong way.

That sucks, that's no way to treat a recreational angler.

Yeah, this one does nothing for me to be honest.

I think Zoom may be starting to reach just a bit. They should be ashamed to even bring either one of those to the market. Someone may be sniffing too much plastisol.

I thought the uni Toad was the dumbist bait ever until the brush hog/craw deal.

Zoom was always the company that didn't throw out random designs (that's berkley) and if zoom had a bait it was a fish catcher.  They didn't introduce many new baits over the years but when they did you could guarantee it was going to work or even start a while new category of baits.  Fluke, hogs and the speed craw are ones I consider new bait categories zoom created that I witnessed.  I remember when the brush hog came out and that thing was just insane looking.  It wasn't a worm or a craw worm.  What was a fish supposed to think?  Now we throw all sorts of weird "creature" baits.

I would like to welcome paddle tail bait #495,987 to the market.  May you climb to the top and dominate!

Fished this today/ weightless on a wide gap EWG - it got hammered right away !!

but I was having a hard time getting a good hook set - esp compared to a horny toad . It is pretty dense and the hook doesn’t slide through very easily - even though there’s a slot

re- rigged it upside down so the hook sits IN the slot and had better success - although the paddle tail is upside down  ??‍♂️

4/0 owner wide gap plus  - I typically don’t have to do a massive “swing for the fences”  hook set with a horny toad

I guess I was just expecting the same… But I made it work

Just ordered a pack. Never had much success on a buzzbait (therefore rarely throw)... going to give it another go this spring/summer with this as the trailer.
