How would y’all fish it?

On the surface like a Stanley Ribbit or Horny Toad. Either weightless or light keel weighted hook.

I'm Thinking Ryan Leaf...

Dang, now thats a name I haven't heard in a hot minute! Honestly, being a native San Diegan, I could go the rest of my life an be just fine not hearing it! So... I take it you think its gonna suck? Or is it because that bait is turd colored? Or both...

Big hook, on top

should work just like a swimming senko buzzed on surface, but cost less and hold up better. Just a guess, haven’t gotten my hands on one

Toad? How is that not a swimbait?

It's both?

Building upon the success of the widley popular Zoom Horny Toad and designed by Zoom’s touring pro-staff, the Zoom Uni-Toad Swimbait is a versatile as it is deadly. Molded with the same body as the original Horny Toad but with a single paddle tail instead of two Ultra-Vibe legs, the Zoom Uni-Toad Swimbait produces a dazzling action and strong kicking motion that bass crush on the surface.

On the bottom it features a belly slit to increase hook penetration and make it easy to rig weedless on EWG or screw-lock style hooks for fishing over grass and pads. It can also be fished as a trailer on the back of your favorite buzzbait to create better casting performance and a bigger target than a silicone skirt for hungry bass. Offered in Zoom’s best-selling colors, the Zoom Uni-Toad Swimbait is sure to become a staple in every boat across the country.

Looking forward to throwing this on lighter weight head swim jigs so I can buzz/wake it and get a more 'fishy' look.  I feel on summer nights this will catch monsters.

Finesse wake bait!

Never dabbled in wakebaits before. But I can think of some shallow areas they might kill around sundown in the summer/early fall.

There's no spot on the doll for where they left me hanging on the TrophyCatch prize money they owed me last year.

LOL. It's all fun and games until the 1099 shows up. What are they saying disqualifies your catch?

I think I’ll just pick up one color from my local shop. But which one…hmmm…and which hook?

Reminds me of the gamechanger eeliminator but that’s a twist tail vs this paddle tail. Interesting bait. Can be used subsurface or as a topwater.

as for the discussion of is it a toad or swimbait, why not both? Who said toads had to be fish on the surface too? Many of them look great on a swinghead or as jig trailer.

No disqualifications, they just never paid up. It was a paltry amount of money, $50 in Berkley giftcards that was supposed to come with free shipping. Seven months later after back and forth with FWC and Berkley, they sent me a couple of cheap spools of mono and letter saying sorry for the wait this is what you get instead. Really rubbed me the wrong way.
