Hey Guys,

I'm doing some wiring on my bass boat on the bow. I have a few wires that are going through the front plastic piece to run back to the battery but I'm looking for something to clean up the wires going through the plastic piece. Currently I have a the vent piece below but I have 4 or 5 wires going through it and it's now to small. I have seen like a circle piece that bolts in and has rub pieces so it's not just a big hole there with wires coming out of it.

Can anyone link or show pictures of how they have cleaned up the wires going from their graphs back into the boat.

Once upon a time, you could get that plastic wire loom that was not split, I used that.  You might could use the split and put a couple small tie wraps to keep it closed together.

Just something to consider...go to the local plumbing dept and look at the pvc pipe connectors.  They make a flanged threaded coupler, put one outside screwed into another on the inside, you will have a smooth edged hole to feed your wires.  They come in different diameters just like pipe does.  Much less cost than anything that says " boat" on it !!

On my last boat I had a bigger version of those clam shells and they worked great. With the more complex setups these days with more wires looking at something like these might be worth the investment as well.

Use a $6 expandable mesh rod sock. I cut then end off and cut it to the length I need. Run all your wires thru it and secure both ends. Then use those clam shells pictured above. You can run a dozen wires thru them.
