Some people just want to watch the world burn ?

Whistlin Dixie is another mad man that half the viewers hate.

Haha popped up as a suggested video a week or so ago and I had to take a look. I think the video pretty much proves that in fact there can be too much of a good thing lol

** Looks like a good way to get dead real quick. **

Family had a cabin on the Platte here in Nebraska...it's a mile wide and an inch deep.  Back in the 70's neighbors were creating big-block-Chevy powered air boats with little to no guards on the props. They would go ripping up and down the river 50-60 MPH. I don't remember anyone getting hurt...but i was pretty young.

First responders call that 'job security'.

Really like the Helmet with the tank top look.

Most Protective.

About 15 years ago I had a jon boat come screaming by me when I was cruising along at 60.  Thinking what the heck, I was going to catch up to him to see what he was running.  At 76mph I was not gaining on him.   Later I saw it at the ramp so I asked him about it.  It looked to be about 16' - 17' and narrow, he said it was a racing jon he was building.  The motor was a Johnson, 3 Cyl, 70hp, that was highly modified, turning 10,000 rpm and he said it was making about 220hp (which I thought was a little exaggerated, but it would fly).  Under the right conditions he said he has seen 81mph out of it.

There can't be drag if the boat itself isn't in the water!
