Super User Tennessee Boy Posted February 8, 2023 Super User Posted February 8, 2023 I don’t think I’ve ever caught a white bass that deep. I caught a yellow bass about 15 ft once. Quote

There’s another hole downriver that’s about 60 feet, they stack in there too 1 Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted February 8, 2023 Super User Posted February 8, 2023 It’s been a while since I’ve seen whites stacked up like that. We used to see them a lot in the fall and winter on Bull Shoals and Table Rock. I’ve caught a lot of them around 30’ deep and spooned them as deep as 60’. 1 Quote

They would just lightly grab a tiny fluke last night and hold still down 30 feet They are more fun to catch running a paddle tail on the mud flats and they pin in to the bottom in a foot of water Quote
Super User FryDog62 Posted February 8, 2023 Super User Posted February 8, 2023 In Minnesota in the Spring, they tend to suspend and run in packs. Best way to catch is a good ol' jerk bait. 3 Quote

Super User Swamp Girl Posted February 9, 2023 Super User Posted February 9, 2023 I love white bass. There's nothing as exciting as seeing a school chasing shad to the surface while the gulls dive on the shad. 1 Quote
