Dogface Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 That's going to impact my fly-fishing trip to New Hampshire tomorrow. Maybe I'll have to use my ten weight. ? 1 Quote

Way north bass guy Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Makes our -48 wind chills here feel like summer. Time to break out the flip flops again. 1 Quote
Smokinal Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Static temp is -16 at my house right now. Supposed to be -50+- with the 20mph winds outside Definitely a 3 dog night Quote
desmobob Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 I've winter camped in New Hampshire's White Mountains before (snowshoe backpacking in Lincoln Woods) and I'm glad I'm not there now! Currently -14˚F at my location with winds gusting to 31 MPH; forecasted to hit -17˚F before starting back up into the positive single digits as tomorrow's high temp. ? Every time the furnace kicks on, I hear my supply of $5/gallon heating fuel going up in smoke... ☹️ Quote

A-Jay Works like a champ at 5:30, the observatory live cam looks a bit chilly too. 75-100 wind, air temp -46, wind chill -108, compared to my -11 and -28 wind chill. Todays smoked pork butt cook might be a bit longer then usual. 1 Quote
