jenga Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I am thinking of installing a cd player in my boat. I have a 150 gift card to bass pro shops. I really don't want to spend much more then that. I was looking at the Dual and Sony cd players but with the sony I would also have to buy the speakers. Can anyone tell me if the Dual cd players are any good or should I spend more and get the Sony. If you have anyother one in mind that retails for around 150 let me know. Thanks, Jenga Quote
Stasher1 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I have no experience with either of those head units, but I'd strongly suggest looking for a head unit with an aux input and patching in an mp3 player instead. They're smaller than CDs, can hold tons of songs, and can be found for less than the cost of two CDs. I wouldn't consider an aftermarket head unit without an aux input, regardless of the vehicle it was going in. Quote
bass or bass ? Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Dual is fine. I have Dual in my truck and boat with Sirius satellite radio in both. Quote

I would rather get a radio from http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Tyaku6p4sZZ/c_20/Marine-Audio.html?tp=419 many more choices and their staff had much more knowledge than bass pro. Quote
