Junk Fisherman Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I know they get excluded from TW's sales and The Tackle Trap doesn't carry them. Does any online retailer ever put them on sale or do I just have to pay the full price? Thanks in advance. Quote
softwateronly Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I bought a conquest used yet it was wrapped in what appeared to be factory shrink. Saved at least $180 and made it possible for me. scott 1 Quote
newapti5 Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Of course. Like many other luxury items, they are put on sale constantly. The most discount I've seen is the GLX line, 40% off last Christmas. But sorry I can't tell you how to find the discount/coupon; you'll have to search the Internet. I just want to let people know, don't pay full retail. 2 Quote
rangerjockey Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I would call ALF and see what they might do . 3 Quote
KP Duty Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Well, they aren't putting them on sale as often as they did pre-pandemic. Covid is apparently over, and we should continue to see great sales like we did for Christmas, which was the best in years IMO. Loomis will catch up.... Quote

rangerjockey Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I remember when the Tackle Trap was discounting Loomis and calling them rep samples . You'll notice they weren't a Loomis dealer very long after that ploy. Quote
Wprich Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 another site had a couple Loomis sales they sent out via email last year to select people 30% off and then another for 25%. I jumped on one of them and picked up 2 NRX+. Quote

SWVA Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 I’ve always bought my Loomis rods at a small local shop. Never paid anywhere close to retail. Quote
Dumbbassanglr Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Im not even old but man the world has changed. Just call around and directly ask for a discount until someone says ok. You will find one. Quote
Hulkster Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 I bought one of the Loomis Travel rods a few years ago from ALF during a Black Friday sale that was on sale for about $100 off. Even with our exchange rate (im from Canada) I was still ahead. Quote
