I know they get excluded from TW's sales and The Tackle Trap doesn't carry them.  Does any online retailer ever put them on sale or do I just have to pay the full price?  Thanks in advance.

I bought a conquest used yet it was wrapped in what appeared to be factory shrink. Saved at least $180 and made it possible for me.

Of course. Like many other luxury items, they are put on sale constantly. The most discount I've seen is the GLX line, 40% off last Christmas. But sorry I can't tell you how to find the discount/coupon; you'll have to search the Internet. I just want to let people know, don't pay full retail.

Well, they aren't putting them on sale as often as they did pre-pandemic.  Covid is apparently over, and we should continue to see great sales like we did for Christmas, which was the best in years IMO.  Loomis will catch up....

I would call ALF and see what they might do .

Careful, you'll get a warning for suggesting that place....mere mention of that site is 'promoting' it apparently.

I remember when the Tackle Trap was discounting Loomis and calling them rep samples .

You'll notice they weren't a Loomis dealer very long after that ploy.

another site had a couple Loomis sales they sent out via email last year to select people 30% off and then another for 25%.  I jumped on one of them and picked up 2 NRX+.

They got Loomis/Shimano back on board for when they reopen is what I read on another forum in the coming months.

I’ve always bought my Loomis rods at a small local shop.  Never paid anywhere close to retail.

I bought one of the Loomis Travel rods a few years ago from ALF during a Black Friday sale that was on sale for about $100 off. Even with our exchange rate (im from Canada) I was still ahead.
