Gear for spring...

Anything your looking to add before ice out? For me all ive got left to order is a few chatterbait flashback minis and some damiki armor shads. Otherwise I'm overstocked.

I'm seriously considering making a purchase of a limited release MB jerk bait.  I think it would be an effective lure/color, I'm just not sure I could handle losing a $50 lure when a pike snips me off.

Already got most of my stuff in. Nothing crazy. Some dt’s to fill out the colors and sizes I needed. Some og4 because I loved the 6 last year but couldn’t fish them in some places. Some new hotheads for various purposes. A thing or two to try. 
 

I have an order for sieberts to get in this week.

Only things I need are some spools of line. 40lb Sufix 832, 10lb Seaguar InvisX and Yo-Zuri Hybrid. That’ll turn into a pile of other stuff I don’t need of course. Got my eye on a couple rods and reels as well.

Actually I’m pretty well set on most tackle.  I’m sure I’ll add a couple deep diving cranks 20-25 ft. As well to other cranks as I’m addicted to buying them.  First time since 2017 that I don’t really need to make any big tackle purchases other than some odds and ends. 
 

I need 2 replace 2 rods that I broke.  So I’ll be building those my self in the next 2 months. Other than that it’s just buying new line to re rig my poles.

I want to add 3 combos, jigs, and swimbaits to leave at my in-laws next year.  I bought 3 combos, jigs, and swimbaits during BF for this purpose, yet I still "need" 3 combos and jigs to leave at my in-laws. 

 

This monkey is strong.

I do not need anything. I have everything I could possibly need BUT I did go to Dick's today and bought some of those Flash Back Minis and a bunch of other stuff I didn't need and I am expecting two packages of fishing gear, that I don't need, tomorrow.

I've bought very little this offseason.  One order from TW that had some line, hooks, and a couple new plastics I want to try but nothing crazy.  Going to buy a bigger lithium battery and add a second unit that I already own to the bow so I can have a dedicated DI/SI to go along with my Livescope.  I'll take my 1-year old lithium and use it to run my unit at the helm.  No new rods or reels this offseason and I've actually sold 2 rods over the last month.  I'll hit up a couple fishing shows and probably make a few impulsive purchases.  I'm still trying to recoup from buying a tonneau cover/cap and running boards for my truck back in December.

and other than a couple of packs of 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG's

I'm looking pretty good.

The new/updated trolling motor & entire electronics package,

well, that's a totally separate deal.

My gear purchasing for this year is done - 6 new rods, 7 new reels and a fair selection of tackle.

 

Couple minor things left to get, including rain gear, and I'm done.

Been ordering stuff, getting ready for the year. Haven’t bass fished hard in years. Really getting after it this year!  Doing tournies 
soft plastics, jerkbaits, flippin weights, line, swimbaits, jigs and lipless. I need more!

Oh, those count?  I thought this was just the gear forum and not the electronics forum.

 

In that case, I'm waiting to see how my bonus comes out this year but if its what I think it is (maxed out) then a Helix 9 and megalive might be making an appearance this spring...

Good luck on that...I hope your bonus is what your hoping for. Next month ill get a quarterly profit sharing check and a biannual value share check. Depending on how those look I'm gonna buy a couple new Roku TVs( one for the basement and one for my woman's reading \art room) and a new charcoal grill. Hoping my bonus is good as well, this quarter last year we got the largest profit sharing check in company history...like an instant 20% raise size check. I'd be happy if this one was even 10% of that.

we had a very good year last year as did my wife's company/group.  she won't max, but she's on a much bigger base.  I think we'll max out which is a one-time payment of 40% of annual salary (less taxes).  I haven't had one of those in 18 years at this company.
