Do you reccomend flouro or mono when throwing big glides or swimbaits? I was thinking of buying this but im not sure if its good or not image.thumb.png.b4f5cbb60876b49891716e572e8e5c40.png

It's a nice line. I buy it in 1200 yard spools. I use it frequently for glides/wakes/crawlers. I suggest buying by diameter rather than listed strength. I use the 14lb for 2.5oz glides without hassle on a 200 sized reel. The 14lb is similar diameter as many 20lb fluoros.

I have used suffix advance for two years now. I like it. I’ll be using it again this year. I primarily use it for jerk baits and spinnerbaits in 12 pound test.

I have used Sufix Advance for a few years, but I have lost a few baits that broke off on casts (maybe I got a couple of bad spools?) but I have had a hard time justifying the cost over Sufix Siege, which has treated me very well and taken any abuse I ever threw at it. So this year, I ordered Siege for all my reels I run mono on.

I'm not completely ruling out trying Advance again at some point, but I've used Siege for years with no issues.

I use 20# Trilene Big Game. Cheap and works great.

I've used Advance in smaller diameter line and I like it. The Advance and Big Game 20# have the same diameter.

Baitwrx has Advance for 50% off right now.

No reason not to use 20# / .018D Big Game Mono If you prefer .018D mono line.

I used 25#/.016D Sunline Diefer Armilo Nylon Mono For swimbaits, wake baits and glides 2 oz to 7 oz. for 5 years without losing any lures. Superior casting distance, stronger knot and abrasion strength then 20 FC or mono line.

The 165 yd filler spool fills most 300 size swimbait reels.

I used advance mono but found it had too much memory for me. I’ve moved to elite for most mono, though supernatural might make a move in after trying it last year.

This.  It just works and if something goes wrong I'm not losing my bait. I'll also use it as a leader when using braid as a main line.  It stands up to the shock abuse well with its high elasticity.  To me this is the purpose built use case for the line.  Big baits and big game.
