Bdnoble84 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Keitechs or other boottails like that are a decent option. I am really likibg the 3 and 4” Storm Largo shad. They have a ton of body roll that imparts a great action to the jig. Experiment with sizes to see what works with your jig. 2 Quote
J.Vincent Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I’m surprised nobody showing any love for the Yum Christie Craw as a Swim Jig trailer ! They are good options on a Swim Jig to achieve more action or lift in the water column ! 1 Quote
Bdnoble84 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I should add not to sleep on the kalins lunker grub, particularly 5”. It has a fairly big tail thump for a grub and there are days when the bass and northern cant stand it. My favorite by far is blue pearl salt and pepper. 2 Quote

If you haven't messed with the mogambo 6" grub yet, a deadly big bait. Color selection is low, but black and bluegill are good enough or me. I need to swim it more, thanks for the reminder. scott 1 Quote

When it comes to swimjig trailers, I dont get to worries about color. Just get something close to the skirt. 1 Quote
