I have a Ray's in mine.  I love it. Spooled with 4lb fluorocarbon.  It was like 50 bucks

What's the weight range/sweet spot with that spool? Is it the one below?

Yes that's it. I've gone under an eighth of an ounce with it and had no complaints.  I throw it on a rod built on an NFC 663 blank (1/8-3/8)

I have a Ray's in one and hprbearings spools in two others. Mine are the spools with the round holes. I have all three spooled with 20# braid on medium or medium heavy rods. I use them for weightless plastics and light trig's. Happy as can be with em

I have the Ray's long cast spools.  I wanted a fairly shallow spool, but not bfs.  They weigh 11.2g's.

Thanks folks, good info - where are you getting these spools?

I see the Tatula label on KP's photo - I presume that fits the Fuego also?

Yes and the forbidden chinease amazon site.  They are called "diy spools".

I was just looking at the HPRBearings offerings on the auction site. If you find the vendor and look in their store you will find them.

I did notice they have them for the CT frame and thought about ordering one for a Tatula CT Type R I just picked up. Nice to hear they work well. Might have to order one and try it!
