Went to the lake yesterday afternoon and caught three fish.  One was on a point, one on a 15' brush pile and the largest on a marker pole in about 5' of water.  All were caught on a Texas rigged worm.  Water temperature was 48*.   4.53 lb Alabama bass.

That's an absolute PIG!!! Congrats and keep at it! That beats by PB spot I caught a couple months back. What's the difference between an Alabama Bass and a Kentucky Bass?

There's a significant difference in size b/t the two.     This is what led to them ultimately realizing they were different enough on a DNA level to warrant a different sub species.

Alabama Bass share closer DNA with the Redeye Bass than the Northern Spotted Bass (Kentucky).

Awesome fish brother, did that fish come from FL, or GA.   I'd imagine GA.
