I bought a Steez ct sv tw 70 about 6 months ago for a dedicated pitching rig and kinda found out its more a finesse reel so I sat on it. Now Im ready to add a finesse rig to my lineup using the Steez 70. Senkos, worms, finesse jigs n stuff. Budget $600 +/- . looking at stuff like nrx+, poison adrena, steez, phenix k2, ect.

Can I get some advice and opinions? thanks all

I found a used Steez AGS Sensor a couple weeks ago for $350.  I've paired it with a jdm zillion g, but have only cast micro jigs into a nearly frozen river.  It seems like I'm gonna like this rod, maybe worth getting on your list.  Feels slightly more sensitive and 1/2 power lighter than a poison adrena 6'11M+.  I have and love the steez 7'2H power pitch as my 3/8-3/4oz grass jig in cover, hoping the series continues to impress.

You can get a rod custom built to your specifications for less than that.

I tried my bro in law's NRX + 803 with Metanium yesterday. I was throwing weightless senko and 4 inch weightless wacky senko.Hands down, Its the most sensitive rod that I have ever used.

I only own the NRX and K2 on your list. They are both about equal in terms of sensitivity but the K2 is a much better finished rod.

I can throw a 5/16 Eakins jig on the K2 heavy . In typical Phenix fashion they fish soft.

I have my Steez CT on a NRX+ 802C. I use if for shaky head soft plastic (usually a roboworm with a 1/16 or 1/8oz head), small swimbaits, and occasionally a 5in weightless senko (this will max the rod though). I would call what I use on it not quite BFS.

This set up is super light and it kind of has that magical feel to it.

I have been using some coastal rods made by Waterloo and Laguna for my BFS applications.

Both of these companies make some phenomenal rods and their medium-light rods are often rated down to 1/16 oz. This may sound a bit strange, but they can easily handle these light lures as well or better than most BFS specific rods I have. As an added benefit, they are the lightest rods I own and extremely sensitive. They generally run around $350-$400 but are worth every penny. Both companies stand behind their products. They have a lot of "back-bone" and can also take on an over-size redfish.

I think this is the rod I’m getting…

NRX 852c JWR. I have both GLX and IMX-Pro 752c rods, and think they may be my favorite rods. Great at so much. If the NRX+ is lighter weight that the GLX version it will feel like a feather in your hand.

A perfect rod for all the applications you mentioned. Also an excellent 1/4 MiniMax, and 1/4oz spinnerbait rod.

I use Steez CT SV TW on NRX+ 852c.

I don't have any BFS but sometimes I think of this as a BFS+ setup - incredibly light, smooth, sensitive, balanced - almost like they were made for each other.

Finese jig machine.
