I’m looking to start a big end shop.. having trouble finding contacts for Japanese bait companies..  deps osp evergreen etc.. I’d appreciate any leads or suggestions thx

You should start with wholesale tackle distributors such as Pitman Creek or Burch Fishing Tackle.

Maybe you can get AJ to sell you some of his collection of Mega Bass.  Might be enough to stock your store for a year or two.

I'd get ahold of the tackle trap.  They are going out of business, but have some contacts.

Catering to "high end" in any sporting goods is a great way to turn a large fortune into a small fortune. We sell many high end bicycles each season, but if I had to give that up or the basic staple stuff, the high end would have to go. Unless you don't care about making money, and it's more about the entertainment value, I wouldn't even consider it.
